Conservative radio host and passionate Second Amendment activist Dana Loesch dropped the hammer on Nine Inch Nails (see what I did there?) lead singer Trent Reznor after he announced that he was “planning to quit Twitter” following massive changes to the platform made by its new owner Elon Musk. Man, what has happened to rock and roll? There used to be a time when rockers would have been on Musk’s side, fighting against censorship and sticking it to the man.
Now it seems the vast majority of rockers are nothing more than professional boot lickers. Nothing could be further from the spirit of the genre than conformity and groupthink. Reznor and many others like him in the industry are a disgrace to the music.
The Daily Wire reports that Reznor, who left the platform Sunday, whined that Musk taking over the social media platform was an “embarrassment” and said that he’d been considering leaving Twitter for a while before the Tesla CEO took over. Pathetic and weak, Mr. Reznor.
“I’m about to depart. We don’t need the arrogance of the billionaire class to feel like they can just come in and solve everything,” Reznor tweeted, adding, “Even without him involved, I just find that it has become such a toxic environment. For my mental health, I need to tune out. I don’t feel good being there anymore”
It’s always hilarious to me when a rich person desperately attempts to connect to those who are not wealthy and does so by slamming other rich people. Reznor no doubt has money falling out of his butt crack. He has no idea what it is like for people today to live paycheck to paycheck under the leadership of a progressive who has caused massive inflation, which has made it almost impossible to purchase goods to survive.
Loesch then responded to Reznor’s announcement by posting a tweet that said, ““‘Planning to quit?’ FFS the attention-seeking drama.”

“He made some great music but he is just an industrial Karen. When he’s not bitching about women or God, it’s TEH MAN,” she stated.
Elon Musk himself addressed Reznor’s departure in a comment directed at the very popular Catturd2 account.
“Breaking … 48 hours since @elonmusk reinstated President Trump’s Twitter account and the world still hasn’t ended,” @Catturd2 posted on Monday.
And it turns out that Trent “nine inch nails” Reznor is actually a crybaby 🤣

“And it turns out that Trent ‘nine inch nails’ Reznor is actually a crybaby,” Musk replied.
Just to illustrate how weak and frail modern rockers really are, White Stripes singer Jack White also said he was leaving the platform on Sunday. The reason? He was upset that Musk put out a poll about reinstating the banned account of former President Donald Trump.
Crybaby indeed.
White’s statement said in part, “So you gave Trump his Twitter platform back. Absolutely disgusting, Elon. That is officially an asshole move. Why dont you be truthful? Tell it like it is; people like you and Joe Rogan (who gives platforms to liars like Alex Jones etc); you come into a ton of money, see the tax bill, despise paying your fair share, and then think moving to Texas and supporting whatever Republican you can is going to help you keep more of your money. (How else could Trump possibly interest you?) You intend to give platforms to known liars and wash your hands like Pontius Pilate and claim no responsibility?”
White then followed typical leftist thought programming by blaming Trump for the riot at the Capitol building, saying, “That’s not ‘free speech’ or ‘what the poll decided’ or whatever nonsense you’re claiming it to be; this is straight up you trying to help a fascist have a platform so you can eventually get your tax breaks. I mean, how many more billions do you need that you have to risk democracy itself to obtain it?”
The White Stripes frontman then heaped praise on the work Musk is doing at Telsa before turning back to slamming him for providing Trump with a platform, saying that was no different than allowing the KKK to hold a rally on a stage he (White) owned.
“You took on a big responsibility with your purchase, and ‘free speech’ isn’t some umbrella that protects you from that,” he ranted.
Clearly, these knuckleheads have no idea what free speech really is.
In order to have truly free speech, you have to allow bad speech. And yes, racist content and all that junk — real racist stuff not the over sensitive drama seeking of most liberals today — is awful. And with free speech, we can shout it down, loud and clear, making it known that line of thinking is culturally unacceptable. We can allow them to say it, but we can hold their feet to their fire too.
Also, by allowing bad speech, we know who the real racists are. They expose themselves. You can hit them where it hurts by not shopping at their businesses and other related actions. That’s how a society with free speech works.
