JUST IN: Trump Lawyer Sends Fiery Threat To Letitia James: ‘We Will Put Your Fat A** In Prison’
As Donald Trump gears up for his second term after winning the 2024 presidential election, his legal team is pushing back against ongoing investigations in New York. Trump’s attorney, Mike Davis, delivered a blistering warning to New York Attorney General Letitia James, calling her investigations into Trump’s business dealings a “conspiracy against rights” and promising legal action. Davis’s comments, made on commentator Benny Johnson’s show, were an unmistakable escalation in the rhetoric between Trump’s team and James’s office.
“Let me just say this to Big Tish James, the New York Attorney General. I dare you to continue your law-fare against President Trump!” Davis said.
“Listen here, sweetheart, we’re not messing around this time, and we will put your fat a** in prison for conspiracy against rights. I promise you that.” Davis’s fierce words reflect the frustration within Trump’s camp.
WATCH:
Trump’s legal troubles in New York have been a long-running saga, with Letitia James leading investigations into allegations of business fraud, inflated assets, and tax discrepancies. Trump and his allies have consistently dismissed these probes as a “witch hunt” designed to damage his public image and undermine his political future. In light of his recent electoral victory, Trump’s supporters argue that the investigations are now a direct attack on his legitimacy as president-elect.
On Wednesday, New York Attorney General James delivered an unhinged press conference in which she appeared to threaten President-Elect Trump after his historic victory on Tuesday night.
“So here we are. We’ve studied their platforms. We’ve identified certain possibilities, fact patterns. We’ve created contingency plans. So no matter what the next administration throws at us, we’re ready,” a visibly shaken James told reporters.
“We’re ready to respond to any attempts to cut or eliminate any funding to the great state of New York as the governor outlined. So despite what has happened on the national stage, we will continue to stand tall in the face of injustice, revenge, or retribution, protect and our most vulnerable and marginalized amongst us. Because it is my sworn duty and responsibility to lead that fight, working with the governor of this great state, Kathy Hochul.”
She continued, “This is not the time to be fearful, New York, but faithful and steadfast, knowing that I as the Attorney General along with my entire team, we are guardians of the law. And we are prepared, my friends, to fight back. Thank you.”
James campaigned on prosecuting and “convicting” Trump and ultimately did so with a highly controversial civil fraud case. The former president was initially fined $100 million after a Democrat judge accused him of inflating the price of his Mar-a-Lago state, even though loans on the property were paid back in full, with interest. The frivolous case has been widely condemned by legal and real estate experts and is expected to be tossed out on appeal.
With Trump’s January 2025 inauguration on the horizon, Davis’s warning signals a shift in the approach of Trump’s legal team, indicating they won’t hold back against what they see as an abuse of power. With Trump scheduled to take the oath of office for a second time on January 20, his team appears resolute in its commitment to push back against legal actions they view as politically driven.
