Greg Gutfeld Perfectly Lays Out The Absurdity Of Gender ‘Cult’ In Passionate Monologue

Fox News host Greg Gutfeld argued that the ongoing fight over Capitol Hill’s bathroom policies perfectly summarizes the absurdity of the left’s radical gender ideology during Tuesday’s episode of “The Five.”

Throughout the week, lawmakers have been going back and forth over whether the House’s first transgender member — a man who now claims to be a woman — will be allowed to use the women’s bathroom. U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) has led the charge to bar U.S. Rep-elect Sarah McBride (D-DE) from the women’s bathroom, while House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has stated that “gender reassignment” is fiction.

Left-wing media outlets have pounced on the issue, including “Last Week Tonight” host John Oliver and MSNBC’s Jen Psaki, both of whom have accused Republicans of “discriminating” against McBride.

Gutfeld was having none of it during Tuesday’s episode of “The Five,” as he argued that the back-and-forth will one day be viewed as an absurd point of American history.

“Well, it’s interesting watching Oliver and Psaki, because you can get some kind of… You can get a glean of how the media works. They all followed the same tortured justification. It’s not really happening, but it is. And why should you care if it is? Okay, it’s happening, and it’s a good thing! But you’re worse, because you care about it,” he said.

“It’s a perfect illustration of the ecosystem. Oliver got his points from an activist blog, and then Psaki, you just listen to her, she almost did it literally what Oliver did. She came out what, two days later. So she didn’t do any research, she didn’t do any thinking about it, no steel manning, no consideration or real empathy.”

Gutfeld specifically took issue with Psaki’s claims that gender ideology — an issue elected Democrats have been running from since Election Day — affects only a “small” number of people. She also made the verifiably false claim that biological males possess no physical advantages over female peers when they are allowed to compete in women’s/girl’s sports.

“When there is a system based on self-reporting, it’s impossible to prevent the corruption of the system. Hence, the infiltration of men in women’s safe spaces, unhealthy, somehow mentally unstable men and they claim it only affects a small percentage of trans. Then why are we forced to change entire systems if it’s a small percentage, including Title IX, buildings and bathrooms,” the longtime Fox News host continued.

“It’s about actually compelling society to adhere to a tiny percentage, and within that tiny percentage are a lot of men who are basically cosplaying as women as a form of perversion, sexual perversion. The media has false compassion while denying real compassion to the families who are losing relationships to their children and losing children entirely to an activist-driven cult. We’re going to look back at this era and go, this is embarrassing.”
