NEW: Taylor Swift Fans Report NFL Player To ICE After Super Bowl Loss

Published

The fallout from the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles has taken an unexpected and bizarre turn, as furious Taylor Swift fans, known as Swifties, have reportedly taken revenge on an Eagles player by attacking his mother’s small business—and even going as far as threatening to report it to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The controversy erupted after Eagles safety CJ Gardner-Johnson took a swipe at Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Swift’s boyfriend, on social media. Gardner-Johnson posted a meme mocking Kelce with the caption, “Should’ve stayed w that thick s****,” a crude reference to Kelce’s ex-girlfriend. The post quickly went viral, drawing ire from Swift’s devoted fanbase.

Gardner-Johnson is known for his vocal presence on the field, frequently engaging in trash talk with opponents. His exchanges have drawn attention in several instances, including a practice altercation with Michael Thomas, on-field confrontations that led to the ejections of Anthony Miller and Javon Wims, and verbal exchanges with Tom Brady that extended to social media.

Kelce’s most well-known ex-girlfriend is Kayla Nicole, is a sports journalist and social media influencer. The two were in an on-and-off relationship for about five years before officially splitting in 2022.

Their breakup led to various rumors, including speculation about financial disagreements, though both Kelce and Nicole have downplayed such claims. Since then, Kelce has made headlines for his relationship with Taylor Swift, which became public in 2023 and has drawn massive media attention.

Now, what started as an online feud soon escalated into real-world actions. Several Swifties took to social media, claiming they had bombarded Google reviews for King’s Grill, a restaurant in Rockledge, Florida, owned by Gardner-Johnson’s mother.

Screenshots showed a sudden influx of one-star reviews trashing the establishment, many of which made no mention of the food or service but instead targeted the Eagles player.

“I made an ICE report on his mom’s business and don’t regret it,” one user posted, referring to a complaint filed with the federal agency that handles immigration enforcement. Another wrote, “We used to ruin people who breathed wrong near [Taylor]. Now you all are being soft.”

The review-bombing campaign sparked backlash even among Swift’s own fans, with some calling out the actions as extreme and harmful to an innocent business owner.

Supporters of Gardner-Johnson’s mother have since mobilized, urging people to leave positive reviews to counteract the online smear campaign.

“Swifties are giving fake bad reviews to CJ Gardner-Johnson’s mother’s restaurant in Florida… If you live in Rockledge, go support her restaurant. If not, go leave a positive review to drown out these trolls,” read one widely shared post.
