Pam Bondi Lays Down The Law, Vows To Prosecute Funders Of Left-Wing Violence: ‘We’re Coming After You’

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi on Friday laid down a scorcher of a threat to potential donors of left-wing violence perpetrated in recent days against Tesla dealerships owner by Trump advisor Elon Musk.

The remark came while Bondi sat for an interview with Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo to announce her office has taken into custody an individual who threw a Molotov cocktail through the window of a Tesla dealership in Loveland, Colorado. According to Forbes, 42-year-old Colorado resident Lucy Grace Nelson was found at the scene with a “container of gasoline plus a box of bottles and wick material” in her car, according to the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado.

It is just the latest in a string of vandalisms against Tesla dealerships as liberals take literal aim over their ire with Musk’s cost-cutting measures atop the U.S. Department of Government Efficiency. But violence will get them nowhere, Bondi promised.

“They’re looking at up to 20 years in prison,” Bondi said about Nelson, now charged with malicious destruction of property for multiple instances.

“So if you’re going to touch a Tesla, go to a dealership, do anything, you better watch out ‘cuz we’re coming after you,” she added, “and if you’re funding this we’re coming after you. We’re going to find out who you are.”

No evidence has yet emerged linking the spate of Tesla vandalisms to a central organizer. However, the curious timing of numerous incidents has raised questions for Bondi and the Trump administration.

In response, President Donald Trump has doubled down on his promise to support the entrepreneur’s electric vehicle company at a critical time.

At the White House earlier this week, Trump and Musk stood together before a backdrop of Tesla vehicles where the president encouraged Americans to finance a purchase for “as low as $299/month.” There, Trump wrote Musk an $80,000 check for a vehicle that he said was going to be a gift to his 17-year-old granddaughter.

High praise from the highest office in the land has its tradeoffs, however. Many owners of Teslas, especially in blue areas, have expressed regret since the start of the Trump administration, with some rushing to sell their vehicles for thousands of dollars in losses.

In Brookline, Massachusetts, police arrested a local man accused of papering Teslas with anti-Musk stickers. In Salem, Oregon, a man opened fire on empty Teslas at a dealership with an AR-style rifle. Three Teslas at a Dedham, Massachusetts dealership were defaced with spray-painted anti-Trump slogans. Four more were set fire at a dealership in Seattle, Washington.

About half of the criminals have yet to be uncovered, according to the outlet.
