Hulk Hogan’s Daughter Issues Cryptic Statement, Says Police Video Will ‘Change Narrative’ Surrounding His Death
Brooke Hogan, the daughter of the late great pro-wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, posted a number of stories on the social media platform Instagram where she shared all she knows about the death of her father. In these posts, Hogan alleges that both medical and police professionals have urged her to “get a hold of” the 911 tapes and body cam footage from the day her dad passed away.
The reason? According to new reports, it’s “because they supposedly contain information that could potentially shed enough light to change the narrative” that has surrounded Hogan’s death.
“Here’s ALL I KNOW. So stop speculating, stop asking. I have also informed my brother [Nick Hogan] of all of this information who is boots on the ground with everything,” Brooke, 37, stated in one slide.
“FACT: I’ve 100% gotten legit calls from professionals — from police officials to nurses that were supposedly with my dad on the day of his death telling ME I need to see body cam footage and I need to get a hold of the 911 tapes because they supposedly contain information that could potentially shed enough light to change the narrative we/I/everyone’s been hearing,” she continued, according to the New York Post
“Those same professionals feel so passionately about what they witnessed, they have continued to contact me and push me to find specific answers to this very day. They are quite literally putting their careers at risk because they feel so compelled to do the right thing,” the Hulkster’s daughter explained.
Hulk Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, passed away from a heart attack at 71 on July 24. The wrestling superstar traveled by ambulance from his home in Clearwater, Florida, to a nearby hospital after a 911 call indicated he was experiencing cardiac arrest.
Records from the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center, obtained by the New York Post, stated Hogan died from a heart attack. The records also revealed a history of chronic lymphocytic leukemia, which is a cancer that impacts white blood cells.
Brooke, who hadn’t spoken with her dad in over two years, stated in the post on her social media that the matter is now “all up to” Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily. The couple married in 2023.
“I have zero control. I can not do anything, my hands are tied, and I have no say in anything regarding my dad — even as his daughter. Those are the rules I’ve been told,” Brooke said of the current situation surrounding her dad’s death.
Earlier in the month of August, Daily said that Hogan’s remains have still not been cremated, which is a topic Brooke tackled in a different Instagram story.
“I do not have any information on if or when he is being cremated. Could have been right after he died, could be tomorrow. I do not know,” she said in her post. “I have been told by my brother there will be an autopsy. I do not know who will be performing the autopsy. Any information I receive from an autopsy — if one happens — whether I believe it or not. I will be keeping private out of respect for my father.”
She then added, “I do not have answers as to if the officials who contacted me about what they witnessed relayed this information to the medical examiner’s office. And if they did, I do not know why it wasn’t taken into consideration.”
Brooke then claimed that body cam footage from her father’s death is “not available” due to the Freedom of Information Act, saying her “hands are tied.”
Cryptically, she then asked a rhetorical question about her questioning the general physician signing off on his death certificate, particularly given his background. She encouraged the audience to Google him for themselves.
“I have to trust that my brother is doing his best to get answers. At the end of the day, answers would be great, but none of it brings my dad back. And my hands are tied,” Brooke said. She then told her audience she’s not talking about any of the “mystery” again.
Brooke had previously asked to be omitted from her dad’s will and did not attend his funeral. Instead, she honored him privately with her husband, Steven Olesky, a former NHL player, and their twin infants.
