WATCH: Stacey Abrams Claims Trump Has ‘Mystical Power’ In Bizarre Interview

Failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacy Abrams and leftist commentator Ezra Klein recently compared President Donald Trump to a “grand ayatollah” who, they claim, has “mystical power” over the folks within the MAGA movement. The strange comments were made during an episode of Abrams’ podcast.

During the episode, Klein brought up the bizarre talking point, stating that people aren’t treating Trump like a president or prime minister, but as a “grand ayatollah of his movement.”

Klein then told the audience, “Donald Trump’s impulses have become nearly religious emanations from a figure viewed within his own coalition as … mystic, having come back through the court cases and the assassination attempts.”

Later in the episode, Abrams revisited the point and questioned whether elections could remove the president from power if he were truly considered a “grand ayatollah.”

“If it is true that he’s a grand ayatollah, that mystical power extends and can be—you know— he can anoint his, you know, his prophets and he can remain in power even if he doesn’t hold the title of president,” Abrams stated during the episode.

“If that’s the case, then there’s no relief from this that is achieved by election. Especially if we are truly in an authoritarian regime where elections are not real,” she continued. “Where Texas remakes its map and California tries to fight back, but there are more red states that have been thinking about this than blue states that have.”

The comments from both individuals come as the president has experienced success in dropping crime rates in Washington, D.C. by taking over law enforcement and then deploying National Guard troops for additional assistance. Along with those efforts stateside, Trump and his administration have been working toward negotiating a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia, according to The Post Millennial.

One user on social media platform X replied to the clip of Abrams’ comments, saying, “Check your meds, Stacey. They got the dosage screwed up.”

Another individual wrote, “Stacey has to be the richest loser in the nation’s history. Maybe add Hillary too.”

You would think that a woman who has been sucking off the teat of the U.S. Treasury for almost a decade via her loot-the-Treasury-pop-up-non-profit grift, could afford a better production setup for her deranged thoughts,” another user said.

Abrams is most well-known for refusing to concede in the gubernatorial race in Georgia when she was defeated by Republican Brian Kemp.
