NEW: DOJ Exposes Biden Admin’s Jaw-Dropping Targeting Of Christians

President Donald Trump’s Justice Department has found that the Department of Housing and Urban Development, under former President Joe Biden, targeted Christians by refusing to promote them based on their personally held religious beliefs.

“The Task Force makes this commitment: the federal government will never again be permitted to turn its power against people of faith,” the report goes on to say. “Under President Trump and Attorney General Bondi’s leadership, in partnership with all members of this Task Force, the rule of law will be enforced with vigor, and every religion will be treated with equality in both policy and action.”

As an example of the bias, new information from the administration revealed that one employee was ordered to delete social media posts celebrating the Christian holidays of Palm Sunday and Easter; however, they were allowed to post LGBTQ pride posts.

“Religious discrimination will not be tolerated — especially Anti-Christian bias that goes against America’s foundational values,” Scott Turner, current secretary of HUD, said in response to the findings.

The report the agency put out noted that an employee of HUD was denied a well-earned promotion on several occasions and suffered from discrimination simply because they adhered to the Christian faith. There were even complaints made about the worker having a Bible and a cross in their cubicle.

It also stated the employee’s supervisor warned other workers to “beware of [name redacted]” due to the person’s religious beliefs. The paper says the situation was resolved after a “challenging 17-month fight” through the EEOC process.

The findings then discuss how the Public Affairs Office was instructed to remove posts related to Palm Sunday and Easter from the official HUD X account in 2023, due to potential violations of the Establishment Clause and several other federal regulations.

However, similar posts made in support of Pride Month, Ramadan, and Diwali were allowed and not scrutinized.

HUD’s report then discussed several actions that are now being taken to help address this situation, as well as others that arose during the investigative process. Faith-based providers raised concerns with the agency over biological men trying to come into shelters that were only established for biological females.

Secretary Turner responded to the situation by issuing an order that directed the agency to halt any pending or future enforcement actions related to a 2016 rule, “Equal Access in Accordance With an Individual’s Gender Identity in Community Planning and Development Programs.”

White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers said to Fox News, “Joe Biden weaponized the full weight of the federal government against Christians and trampled on their fundamental First Amendment rights. Unlike Joe Biden, President Trump is protecting Christians, not punishing them.”

Fox also reported, “The Task Force found that the Department of Defense, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Department of Labor all ‘deprioritized, mishandled, or denied requests for religious exemptions to the Biden administration’s COVID-19 mandate.'”
