SHOCKING: Body Found In Impounded Car Belonging To Famous Singer

Authorities made a grim discovery this week when they found a body inside a Tesla belonging to a rising R&B singer.

D4vd, a popular artist who boasts millions of streams, is under a police microscope after his electric vehicle was found stuffed with a body inside a Hollywood tow yard on Monday afternoon. According to a local ABC affiliate, human remains were stuffed in a bag in the vehicle’s front trunk.

Authorities have not yet identified the victim.

TMZ confirmed with police that the Tesla is registered in Hempstead, Texas, to the singer, whose given name is David Anthony Burke.

The grisly crime scene was discovered just as Burke readied to take the stage in Minneapolis as part of his nationwide tour that kicked off last month. He has gained popularity on streaming services with hits like “Here With Me” and “Romantic Homicide,” each of which has racked up over a billion streams.

The outlet noted that D4vd posted on his social media profiles on Monday, so it appears that the body is not his own.

According to a police report, the body was uncovered after employees in the tow yard began to notice a foul stench emanating from the vehicle. Inside were putrid, decomposing human remains wrapped in plastic.

Investigators believe the 2023 vehicle was dropped off approximately five days ago in the tow yard, located at the 1000 block of N. Mansfield Avenue. At the time, D4vd had been regularly sharing posts with his 2 million social media followers.

Video from the crime scene shows LAPD officers encircling the vehicle with yellow crime scene tape. A white canopy tent has been set up nearby, allowing officers to investigate evidence without being surveilled by aerial news helicopters.

He is expected to return to Los Angeles following his concert in Minneapolis on Tuesday night.

His second studio album, “WITHERED,” was released earlier this year.

In March, D4vd admitted his latest album has cost him “blood, sweat, and tears.”

“Thank you all eternally for waiting on me. This album means SO much to me you have no idea the blood sweat and tears that came with trying to create this project over the past 2 years,” he wrote on Instagram shortly before the release of his album.

“Constantly starting over and over and over until there was nothing left on this audio landscape of a canvas than thoughts, melodies, and emotions that were unequivocally me.”

Reps for the musician did not return a request for comment from the NY Post.
