REPORT: Charlie Kirk’s Assassin Lived With A ‘Transgender Partner’

Tyler Robinson, the far-left extremist accused of murdering conservative activist Charlie Kirk on the Utah Valley University campus earlier this week, was living with a transgender partner at the time of the shooting, according to a report from Fox News.

The individual in question, who is a male in the process of transitioning to a female, is fully cooperating with the FBI, Fox News’ Brooke Singman reported. “Sources tell me the FBI had texts and other communications between Robinson and the individual that helped FBI authorities solidify that Robinson was indeed the shooter,” she added.

Singman noted that just before Kirk was shot, he was asked a question about the rise in violence carried out by transgender-identifying individuals. “Too many,” he said just seconds before the shot rang out.

According to the FBI, Robinson engraved far-left, Antifa-aligned messages on shell casings, which were recovered at the crime scene. Messages include “Hey fascist, catch” and words from the Italian communist song Bella Ciao, which has been widely adopted by Antifa-aligned extremist groups.

He also wrote “Notices. Bulges. OWO,” which has been widely interpreted as a nod to his pro transgender views.

Robinson is believed to have killed Kirk from a rooftop overlooking the event venue, located about 150-200 yards from Kirk’s tent. Images of the gunman’s sniper’s next indicate that he had a clear shot at Kirk, which he took with a scoped bolt-action rifle.

“Based on surveillance camera footage, Suspect appears to be a white male with dark colored hair, wearing a dark colored hat, sunglasses, a long sleeve black shirt with a picture of an American flag and an eagle printed on the shirt, dark colored jeans, and white/gray shoes with white colored shoelaces (the shoes appear to be consistent with Chuck Taylor/Converse style shoes),” the Utah County Sheriff’s Office wrote in its report.

The gunman was able to escape the rooftop by jumping down from a low point. After that, he discarded the weapon in a wooded area just off campus and escaped by jumping through yards in the surrounding neighborhood.

Robinson was ultimately turned in by his father after he confessed to the crime.

According to a longtime friend of Robinson’s, the accused killer would often express support for far-left ideologies and causes. The individual, who spoke anonymously with the Guardian, said he and Robinson played online games together for a number of years.

During this time, Robinson informed him that the rest of his family held conservative views, leaving the former teenager feeling ostracized about his dislike for President Donald Trump. Publicly available records indicate that Robinson is a registered independent voter while both of his parents are Republicans.
