A public memorial service for conservative icon Charlie Kirk has been scheduled for Sunday, September 21 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, according to a statement from Turning Point USA.
“Join us in celebrating the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Charlie Kirk, an American legend,” the Kirk-founded organization announced in an X post. The stadium is the home of the Arizona Cardinals, who will be out of town for an away game against the San Francisco 49ers.

The announcement comes as hundreds of vigils and memorial services have popped up in Kirk’s honor across the nation.
Throughout the pasts several days, large crowds have paid their respects outside the Turning Point headquarters in downtown Phoenix. Multiple memorials were erected outside the building, one of which featured a photo of Kirk alongside the quote, “May Charlie be received into the merciful arms of Jesus, our loving Savior.”
That memorial was adorned with flowers and sat below a flag flown at half-mast, which was ordered by President Trump in honor of Kirk.

Other vigils sprouted up at universities and government buildings across the country. At Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, hundreds of students linked arms in prayer and sang “Amazing Grace.”
At Texas A&M, hundreds of students held a candlelight vigil in honor of Kirk.

Kirk’s casket arrived home in Phoenix on Thursday evening after it was escorted aboard Air Force Two by Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Second Lady Usha Vance. A military honor guard was on-hand to escort Kirk home, while Vice President Vance personally assisted with carrying Charlie’s casket.
Upon arrival, Kirk was honored by air traffic control operators in Phoenix. “Welcome home, Charlie. You didn’t deserve it… May God bless your family,” an air traffic control operator said as the aircraft was taxiing on the runway.
A hearse carrying Kirk’s casket soon made its way through downtown Phoenix, escorted by a large motorcade before reaching its final destination at the Hansen Mortuary. Throngs of supporters paid tribute to Kirk along the route.

On Saturday evening, Charlie’s widow, Erika, posted a heartbreaking video alongside her husband’s casket. The emotional post included photos of Charlie with his young children, as well as the tear-jerking moment his casket was loaded onto Air Force Two.
The post came shortly after Erika Kirk captivated the nation with a powerful speech just 48 hours after her husband’s murder. In the remarks, which were delivered in Charlie’s studio, Erika vowed to keep his movement alive and rapidly expand Turning Point’s operations.
“Two days ago, my husband went to see the face of his Savior and his God. And one of the final conversations that he had on this earth, my husband witnessed for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Now and for all eternity he will wear the glorious crown of a martyr,” she said.
Erika went on to thank Vice President Vance and his wife, Usha, for their support of the last several days and beyond. “I want to thank President Trump and his incredible family. Mr. President, my husband loved you. And he knew that you loved him too. Your friendship was amazing. You supported him so well.”
