NEW: Army Suspends Reserve Officer For Celebrating Kirk Murder, Threatening Trump Officials
The Army has suspended and is actively investigating a reserve officer who celebrated the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and made threatening statements towards President Donald Trump and senior administration officials. The officer is among the hundreds of far-left extremists who have flooded social media with posts glorifying Kirk’s assassination over the last 72 hours.
Army Reserves Maj. Bryan Bintliff, who goes by “Bryan Harlow” on social media and as an actor, made several social media posts celebrating Kirk’s murder. He also suggested that White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller should also be assassinated and threatened violence against President Trump as well.
The posts were highlighted by the X user Aesthetica, who has documented the far-too-common celebrations of Kirk’s death on his page.

On Sunday, the Daily Caller reported that Bintiff has been suspended while the Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID) investigates the incident.
The major will likely not be the last active duty military member to be suspended and likely discharged, as several others have flooded social media with similar posts. Master Chief Petty Officer Ben Cooper of the U.S. Navy labeled Kirk as a “fascist” and “racist before suggesting that he deserved to be killed.
“If you think that means I condone him getting sniped from 200+ yards away, you’re wrong but from the crowd that like to say FAFO so much, how can they be surprised?”
Fellow sailor Megan Carmona made numerous posts celebrating the killing, Army soldier Drake Richardson said the world is “better place” without Kirk, and Army Staff Sergeant Jacob Sezer said the conservative activist “deserved worse.” These and other posts from active duty military personnel are among the dozens of archived celebrations from Aesthetica.
“Mocking or celebrating the assassination of a fellow American is unacceptable in the ranks,” said Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell. “Zero tolerance means zero tolerance.”
The celebrations and glorification of violence has not been limited to the armed forces, as hundreds of far-left extremists have been reported and fired across all sectors of the economy. On Saturday morning, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced that two American Airlines pilots who celebrated Kirk’s death had been grounded and would soon be out of the job.
“American Airlines pilots who were caught celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk have been immediately grounded and removed from service,” Duffy wrote. “This behavior is disgusting and they should be fired. Any company responsible for the safety of the traveling public cannot tolerate that behavior. We heal as a country when we send the message that glorifying political violence is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!”
A disturbing number of posts came from school teachers and staff. Byron Davis, a teacher in the Houston, Texas area, celebrated the murder and called for conservative activist Chaya Raichik to receive the same. Los Angeles area teacher Erik Travis went a step further by posting that, “Far right assholes have a target on their backs, and deserve to die. One down, millions to go.”
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has commissioned investigations into any Sunshine State teacher found to have celebrated Kirk’s death. “We will hold teachers who choose to make disgusting comments about the horrific assassination of Charlie Kirk accountable. Govern yourselves accordingly,” the state’s education commissioner announced in a press release.
