Alleged Assassin’s Trans Partner ‘Hated’ Conservatives And Christians, Relative Says

The roommate of alleged killer Tyler Robinson, who is accused of assassinating iconic conservative activist Charlie Kirk, “hates conservatives and Christians,” one of his relatives told Fox News.

Lance Twiggs, the 22-year-old romantic partner of Robinson’s, has not been charged in connection with the crime. Federal investigators have described him as a “person of interest” who has been cooperative with the investigation, however.

He is said to be in the process of “transitioning” from male to female.

According to a female relative who spoke with Fox News on the condition of anonymity, Twiggs began to “act differently” when he turned 18, at which point he developed a hatred of Christians.

“He hates conservatives and Christians,” the relative said. “He hated us. He was not raised that way, but he, over the years, has become really detached [and] been radicalized.”

“He has obviously gotten progressively worse the last year or two,” the relative said, adding that he’s “always very angry.”

The relative believes that Twiggs’ views may have played a prominent role in Robinson’s decision to kill Kirk. This is a theory that is actively being investigated by the FBI, as federal investigators believe the accused killer saw Kirk’s views on transgenderism as “hateful” towards his trans boyfriend.

“I think Tyler got a whole lot worse in the year they have been dating. They are big gamers, and obviously they have that group that influences them as well as others. But my gut tells me [the roommate] did more of the influencing,” the relative said.

“Everybody in my family wants justice to be served and wants no part in this and wants whoever is involved in whatever way to have to pay for that,” the relative added.

Robinson and Twiggs shared a townhouse in St. George, Utah, where both of their families reside.

According to a report from the New York Post, Twiggs appears to have made a comment in a 2022 Reddit post stating, “We are riding with Biden on this glorious subreddit.”

Utah Governor Spencer Cox confirmed to CNN Sunday that Twiggs, an aspiring pro-gamer, was active on Reddit. “The post was made on a jokey subreddit that was filled with sarcastic comments, and a subsequent post referenced former Republican primary candidate Jeb Bush,” The Post reported.

“One day Jeb will be president and America will fully reform into a utopia,” the comment in the same thread reads.

In another post, Twiggs said he had been receiving targeted ads for treatment for schizophrenia and other mental conditions on social media. “I have been getting recommended treatments for schizophrenia, bpd, and a brain tumor recently by my social media advertisements. this meme is perfect, thanks,” the post reads.

His posts were rarely explicitly political, though he did frequently discuss his gender transition, as well as his disdain for Christians.

Robinson was ultimately turned in by his father after confessing to the crime and later discussing the situation with a youth pastor. Both the Robinson and Twiggs families are believed to be conservative and Christian, though both appear to have been increasingly distant from their sons.
