Legendary Pro Golfer Rips Ilhan Omar: ‘Back To Somalia’

One of the most iconic golfers in history said he hopes “Squad” Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is “sent back to Somalia” for her latest comments about Charlie Kirk.

Omar on Saturday preempted a massive celebration of Kirk’s life and headlined by President Donald Trump with incendiary comments on CNN, where she wished that his memory be relegated to the “dustbin of history.”

“It is one thing to care about his life because obviously so many people loved him, including his children and wife. But I am not going to sit here and be judged for not wanting to honor any legacy this man has left behind. That should be in the dustbin of history, and we should hopefully move on and forget the hate that he spewed every single day,” she told Kaitlan Collins.

Shortly afterward, Phil Mickelson fired off a furious social media post accusing the Minnesota Democrat of coming to the U.S. “fraudulently” and encouraging her to return to Africa.

“Ilhan spews hate every time she opens her mouth, she came here fraudulently and will hopefully be sent back to Somalia soon,” he wrote ahead of Kirk’s Sunday memorial service in Glendale, Arizona.

The 55-year-old’s remark echoed others by President Trump, who has mocked Somalia’s failed-state government and Omar for “telling” him how to run the U.S.

“Ilhan Omar’s Country of Somalia is plagued by a lack of central Government control, persistent Poverty, Hunger, Resurgent Terrorism, Piracy, decades of Civil War, Corruption, and pervasive Violence,” Trump wrote online. “70% of the population lives in extreme Poverty, and widespread Food Insecurity.”

“Somalia is consistently ranked among the World’s Most Corrupt Countries, including Bribery, Embezzlement, and a Dysfunctional Government. All of this, and Ilhan Omar tells us how to run America!”

The president took another shot at Omar over the allegation that she married her brother to protect him from deportation.

“P.S. Wasn’t she the one that married her brother in order to gain Citizenship???” Trump continued. “What SCUM we have in our Country, telling us what to do, and how to do it. Thank you for your attention to this matter. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.”

Omar married a man named Ahmed Nur Said Elmi in 2009. Sources in Minnesota’s Somali community have claimed that a Christian priest officiated their wedding because Islamic Somali priests close to Omar knew that her first marriage was a fraud.

Mickelson has become outspoken on social media in the days since Kirk was murdered on September 10, the Daily Mail reported.

Responding to a post by actor James Woods, the golf pro called Sunday’s celebration of the Turning Point USA founder, “Incredible and inspiring.”
