NEW: Spiderman Actor Tom Holland Rushed To The Hospital After Serious Injury On Set

Famed “Spiderman” actor Tom Holland was rushed to a hospital after cracking his head on the concrete sidewalk in what witnesses say was a horrible movie stunt gone wrong.

The 29-year-old was performing his own daring maneuvers as part of filming for “Spiderman: Brand New Day” when the injury occurred, according to reps for the actor. The budget-busting film, which is expected to cost $150 million, could be on hold for weeks as medics assess Holland’s ability to come back from his high-flying spill.

Dominic Holland, the actor’s father, said his son could be in recovery for “a while” while doctors treat what is believed to be a serious concussion — if not a skull fracture.

Filming at Leavesden Studios in Watford, Herts, U.K., has been paused since Friday.

Another woman, thought to be Holland’s stunt double, was also taken to a hospital by ambulance, the Sun reported.

On Tuesday, The Sun reported that Holland was feeling well enough to attend events just days after the incident. The actor and his fiancé, the actress Zendaya, were spotted at a comedy club to watch his father, a comedian, perform his latest set.

However, Holland left the performance a little earlier after feeling ill, according to The Sun.

The country’s Health and Safety Executive department may investigate the fall as part of its oversight of working conditions.

The stakes are high for young Holland, who is reprising his role in the 2021 “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” which garnered box office success along with respectable reviews. He is the third actor to suit up this century after Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

Filming restrictions during the pandemic frustrated Holland, he’s stated in previous interviews. For his fourth Spider-Man film, the studio has taken to shooting in Glasgow, Scotland, giving the set a more authentic feel, he said.

“It’s gonna feel like making [2017’s] Spider-Man 1 again,” he hinted about the fresh approach, calling his new environment a “breath of fresh air.”

“Spiderman: Brand New Day” is scheduled for release on July 31, 2026, although the date was set before Holland’s recent head injury.

Leavesden Studios and Sony Pictures did not respond to a request for comment from the Sun.

Holland’s spill isn’t the first to affect an A-list actor this year.

Charlize Theron was injured during filming of her latest action flick, “Apex,” while performing several stunts without protective gear, Fox News reported.

“Our crew delivered a really impressive movie, and yours truly did some stunts and action — without a harness, sometimes,” the Oscar winner said at a Netflix presentation show back in May.

“Don’t tell Netflix,” she joked.
