Zohran Mamdani Embroiled In Scandal After Posing For Pic With WTC Bombing Co-Conspirator

Socialist New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani recently campaigned with an infamous Brooklyn imam who is an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. The imam has also been connected with other terrorist activities in the United States, including inflammatory comments urging Islamists to wage jihad on the city.

Mamdani, the current frontrunner for the Democratic Party in the mayoral race, who is set to ultimately become the leader of one of America’s biggest and most influential cities, was spotted with a big smile plastered on his face while giggling arm-in-arm with Siraj Wahhaj.

The photograph of the two men was taken at the imam’s Bedford-Stuyvesant mosque and shared on X the day following the first mayoral debate.

“Today at Masjid At-Taqwa, I had the pleasure of meeting with Imam Siraj Wahhaj, one of the nation’s foremost Muslim leaders and a pillar of the Bed-Stuy community for nearly half a century,” Mamdani stated on X concerning the meeting between the two.

“A beautiful Jummah,” he added, making a reference to a weekly Islamic prayer.

Wahhaj, 75, is also the leader of the Muslim Alliance in North America. Prosecutors accused the imam of being an “unindicted co-conspirator” in the 1993 WTC bombing, which killed six people. Wahhaj has also made public comments in defense of the plotters of the attack made against the FBI and CIA, whom he referred to as the “real terrorists.”

Of course, as you might already suspect, the imam has denied having any connections to terrorism. But, according to the Islamic faith, lying is a perfectly acceptable tactic when it comes to jihad.

Wahhaj has testified in previous trials in support of Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman, also known as the “blind sheik,” who is also the leader of a terrorist cell based out of Egypt, referring to the man as a “respected scholar.”

“In a sermon in the early 2000s, Wahhaj — born Jeffrey Kearse — called for an army of 10,000 men to wage what he insisted was a gun-free jihad on New York City, according to a foreign intelligence assessment obtained Saturday by The Post,” the New York Post reported.

“I pray one day Allah will bless us to raise an army, and I’m serious about this,” he went on to say during the sermon, while encouraging his followers, “don’t pick up a gun, no. Just march. March through the city of New York.”

“Let them hear your voice. Let them hear it at night. Let them hear it 24 hours, until the whole city can’t sleep,” he concluded.
