Republican firebrand Marjorie Taylor Greene is headed straight into the lion’s den — she’ll be taking a guest seat on “The View” next week.

Whoopi Goldberg dropped the bombshell Thursday morning as the liberal hosts kicked around the latest drama from Washington’s government shutdown.

“People in Washington are starting to say ‘my constituents.’ You know, they’re starting to remember why they’re there,” Whoopi said, applauding lawmakers for supposedly finding their purpose again. “Because you don’t get there without people putting you there.”

Goldberg noted that Greene has been hammering that same message lately — and then made the announcement.

“I’m happy to say that she’s gonna be here on Tuesday,” Whoopi told viewers.

“I don’t know how many things we agree on, but I know the one thing she and I, and all of us at this table agree on, is this should not be affecting the American people,” she added.

The Georgia Republican’s visit comes just weeks after the show’s hosts griped that GOP politicians rarely accept their invitations — or flat-out duck them.

WASHINGTON, DC – March 22, 2024: U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) speaks to reporters after voting against a government spending bill, and filing a motion to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson.

Back on Oct. 14, actress Cheryl Hines sat in the guest chair and quickly found herself fielding more questions about her husband, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., than her own career. Even then, the hosts lamented that Kennedy himself wouldn’t show.

“They’re scared of us. It’s like Marjorie Taylor Greene says, that she finds the Republican men afraid of powerful women,” Joy Behar quipped at the time. “Well, that may be true of all political persuasions. But if they would come on the show, they can explain to us what they’re trying to do to this country.”
