JUST IN: Bombshell Docs Raise Significant Concerns Over Biden DOJ’s Mar-A-Lago Raid
Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel are preparing to provide congressional investigators with “bombshell emails” revealing that the FBI warned the Biden Justice Department that it lacked probable cause to raid President Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate in 2022, according to a report from John Solomon of Just The News. The raid was ultimately carried out despite objections.
The emails are set to be turned over to the Senate and House Judiciary Committees as early as Tuesday, ahead of a planned deposition Wednesday from former special prosecutor Jack Smith, who ran the Biden DOJ’s criminal cases against Trump.
The memos outline how the FBI’s Washington Field Office “does not believe they established probable cause” prior to raiding Trump’s Palm Beach home, one source with direct knowledge of the documents told Just The News.
Multiple FBI employees had previously filed internal complaints over the handling of the raid. “Did this really just happen? Am I dreaming? The FBI served a Search Warrant on a former president?” one agent wrote in an email to the FBI’s acting ombudsman Chauncenette Morey shortly after the raid.
“I’ve lost just about all faith in our leadership. Obviously they forgot Crossfire Hurricane,” the agent continued, referencing the FBI’s unfounded surveillance of then-candidate Trump as part of the bogus “Russian collusion” investigation. “If he took documents, give him a call and ask for them back. Like … Seriously? My own agency … a bunch of Democrat political hacks up top.”
Another FBI employee accused the bureau of assisting in turning the nation into a “Banana Republic,” adding that the raid was an “embarrassment.”
“What is the predication of the investigation involving the search? It better be more than putting a few documents in the archives or classified material of which the man could have declassed,” the agent wrote. He then called on FBI leadership to restore faith in the agency, if possible.

The soon-to-be released emails will lay out the specific concerns about the Biden DOJ’s lack of probable cause for carrying out the raid from agents who worked on the case, Just The News reported.
The raid ultimately culminated in two indictments against the then-former president, one for alleged mishandling of classified documents and another relating to challenges to the 2020 election results. The documents case was ultimately tossed by U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon on grounds that Smith was improperly appointed, while the other case was severely weakened by a Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity before it was scrapped entirely following Trump’s election win last November.
Jack Smith recently received a subpoena from the House Judiciary Committee compelling him to give a closed-door deposition Wednesday as part of the committee’s probe into the Biden DOJ’s prosecutions of Trump.
“The Committee on the Judiciary is continuing to conduct oversight of the operations of the Office of Special Counsel you led — specifically, your team’s prosecutions of President Donald J. Trump and his co-defendants,” Chairman Jim Jordan wrote in the letter accompanying the subpoena two weeks ago. “Due to your service as Special Counsel, the Committee believes that you possess information that is vital to its oversight of this matter.”
Peter Koski, a lawyer for Smith, indicated that the former special counsel will comply with the request.
