Suspect In Paul Pelosi Assault Had List Featuring Four Other Potential Victims
David DePape, the 42-year-old man accused of breaking into the San Francisco home of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and assaulting her husband Paul with a hammer, apparently had a list that featured the names of four other potential victims that he planned to target, according to local police.
Police stated DePape struck Paul Pelosi at least one time with the hammer. Authorities are also saying they have recovered a list belonging to the suspect that featured the names of other people he was planning to target, though they did not come out and refer to it as a “hit list.”
The police have yet to release the names featured on the list.
According to Fox News, “Police responded to the home at 2 a.m. on Friday to find DePape and Pelosi struggling over a hammer. Pelosi was reportedly able to call the police by saying he needed to go to the bathroom.”
“DePape, a conspiracy theorist who frequently posted online, has been mentally ill for a long time,’ according to his purported ex-life partner, Oxane Taub,” Fox said. “Taub, herself a jailed nudist activist convicted on child abduction charges, claimed in an interview with ABC7 to have raised two sons with DePape, along with her daughter from a previous relationship.”
Taub then went on to share details from an incident where DePape came home out of the blue after completely disappearing for almost an entire year. Yeah, this guy definitely does not sound like his happy meal has all of its french fries.
“He came back in very bad shape. He thought he was Jesus. He was constantly paranoid, thinking people were after him. And it took a good year or two to get back to, you know, being halfway normal,” Taub explained.
DePape is currently facing charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse, burglary, and several other felonies that resulted from the home invasion incident.
Nancy Pelosi was seen visiting her husband in the hospital on Sunday, which marks her first public appearance since the attack happened on Friday.
Of course, the radical left has seized on this incident as an opportunity to further the false narrative that conservatives are all evil, domestic terrorists who have been inspired by the rhetoric of former President Donald Trump to commit acts of violence against liberals and attempt some sort of coup to overthrow the government.
Seems Democrats are just as unstable as DePape, doesn’t it?
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre actually compared the assault to the riot at the Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021.
“The thing that is probably the most haunting about when we hear the reports of this assailant, of the attacker that you were speaking of, is that he was yelling out the things that we heard during January 6, which is, ‘Where is Nancy?’” Jean-Pierre remarked. “And you know, again, we need to end this type of rhetoric. It needs to stop, and it is incredibly, incredibly dangerous.”
Or, and hear me out on this, maybe the suspect, DePape, is just mentally ill and in desperate need of help and rehabilitation? I mean, believe it or not, it’s totally possible this guy’s attack was not at all legitimately politically motivated. The man once thought he was Jesus for crying out loud.
