JUST IN: Trump Hints At ‘Big Wave’ Of New Attacks Against Iran
President Donald Trump says the U.S. military is still hammering Iran — and warned the battered regime that the heaviest blows are still ahead.
In a nine-minute phone interview with CNN on Monday morning, Trump said American forces are “knocking the crap” out of Tehran’s regime but made clear the current strikes are only the opening act.
“We’re knocking the crap out of them,” Trump told CNN’s Jake Tapper. “I think it’s going very well. It’s very powerful. We’ve got the greatest military in the world and we’re using it.”
The president covered everything from how long the conflict could drag on to Iran’s retaliation across the Middle East and what comes next.
On the timeline, Trump signaled he does not expect a drawn-out war.
“I don’t want to see it go on too long. I always thought it would be four weeks. And we’re a little ahead of schedule,” he said.
Pressed on whether the United States is doing anything beyond military action to help the Iranian people wrest back control from the regime, Trump answered simply: “Yes.”
“We are indeed. But right now, we want everyone staying inside. It’s not safe out there.”

Then came the warning.
“We haven’t even started hitting them hard. The big wave hasn’t even happened. The big one is coming soon.”
Trump said the most unexpected development so far has been Iran’s decision to fire on Arab nations that had initially kept their distance — including Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.
“We were surprised,” Trump said. “We told them, ‘We’ve got this,’ and now they want to fight. And they’re aggressively fighting. They were going to be very little involved and now they insist on being involved.”

Of the region’s leaders, he added: “I know these people. They’re tough and smart.”
According to Trump, Iranian forces struck civilian targets in those countries, escalating tensions.
“The Iranians,” he said, “shot into a hotel, they shot into an apartment house. It just made them angry. They love us, but they were watching. There was no reason for them to be involved.”
He called the attacks on those nations “that was probably the biggest surprise.”
Trump argued that Iran’s nuclear ambitions have long cast a shadow over the region, making lasting peace impossible.
“You have to understand, they were living under that dark cloud for years. That’s why you could never have peace,” he said.
