Did Trump Just Drop A Clue For Potential 2024 Vice President Pick?

Last week, former President Donald Trump revealed that he would be making a major announcement on November 15 from his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, which has led many to believe he’s going to finally reveal he’s running for president in 2024. It makes sense for him to make that announcement now, after the midterm elections last week.

Something that has added to all of the speculation is that he was recently asked by a reporter about who he would pick for his vice presidential running mate. Trump responded by saying, “I’ll let you know very soon.”

“Trump said at a rally in Ohio on Monday he will make a very big announcement at his Florida home on November 15, which is largely expected to be the announcement of his third presidential campaign. The former president was reportedly considering announcing his candidacy at the Ohio rally, just one day before the midterm elections, but he said he chose to hold off as to not detract from the importance of tomorrow,” Forbes went on to say in a report.

It seems, according to Conservative Brief, that the former president is narrowing down the list of potential vice presidential candidates that will be joining him on his next campaign. And for the record, that list most definitely does not include former Vice President Mike Pence. These two went from being on friendly terms during their administration to now being enemies.

So who is on the list?

Well, Robert Draper, a correspondent who works for The New York Times Magazine, stated that Trump is giving serious consideration to Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Draper conducted an interview with The Daily Beast on their podcast, “New Abnormal,” saying, “that Greene had risen quickly in her first term in Congress by using the same tactics she honed as a right-wing social media influencer harassing Democratic staffers, and she could shoot to the second-highest office in government.”

“Republicans kind of wanted to kick her to the curb immediately,” Draper claimed during the episode. “But instead, she became a fundraising dynamo, came to have this huge social media influence, and ultimately came to be very influential within the party itself.”

“Draper went on to say that Trump has been seriously discussing Greene as a potential VP since February, and though he has likely considered others as well, Greene has another quality that may propel her to the top, the report said,” Conservative Brief reported.

“She has been unflaggingly loyal to Trump throughout,” Draper remarked. “What is Trump concerned about most of all in a VP after the Mike Pence experience? Loyalty. He knows that if he needs someone to fight for him to overturn a presidential election. He has every reason to expect that Greene would be by his side and would be his proximate warrior.”

However, it’s important to point out that Greene isn’t the only female member of the GOP on Trump’s list. Several other recent reports are indicating that he’s also considering Rep. Elise Stefanik from New York, who is currently the third ranking member of the Republican Party.

There’s also been talk that former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, who just defected from the Democratic Party a few months ago, might also be on the list of Trump’s potential 2024 running mates.

Perhaps we’ll find out who Trump is going to take along for the ride during his big announcement?
