NEW: Several Arrests Made After Far-Left Rioters Storm DHS Facilities

Several arrests were made after mobs of far-left rioters stormed Department of Homeland Security (DHS) facilities in Los Angeles, Chicago and Portland, Oregon on Saturday evening. The unrest occurred after the latest round of “No Kings” protests targeting the Trump Administration.

In Los Angeles, one of the primary locations of unrest was the Edward R. Roybal Federal Building, which houses DHS operations. According to DHS statements, approximately 1,000 individuals gathered around the facility in the evening.

Footage obtained by on-the-ground reporter Anthony Cabassa shows rioters tossing rocks, chunks of cement and other projectiles at officers before an unlawful assembly was declared. Cabassa further noted that multiple people were visibly injured in the clashes.

Federal officers later declared an unlawful assembly and deployed tear gas, rubber bullets and other crowd control munitions to clear the area.

A separate incident took place nearby at the Metropolitan Detention Center, where DHS agents maintained a presence. Individuals in the crowd banged on fences and threw objects toward officers. Los Angeles Police Department personnel responded, issued dispersal orders, and deployed tear gas to clear the area.

At least six rioters were arrested across both incidents, according to the LAPD. An unknown number were also arrested by federal personnel.

In Portland, Oregon, rioters athered outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility following the main “No Kings” events in the city. Clashes took place involving federal officers and Border Patrol agents, while some rioters could be seen scaling the building’s perimeter fences.

The Portland Police Bureau reported three arrests for assault and criminal mischief. Police later issued a dispersal order and used less-than-lethal crowd control munitions to clear the rioters out.

The latest round of unrest took place amid a documented rise in violence directed at federal agents. DHS data from earlier in 2026 indicated that assaults against ICE officers increased by more than 1,300 percent compared to the prior year.

Vehicular attacks rose by over 3,200 percent, and death threats against officers and their families showed an 8,000 percent increase during the comparable period. The department linked the trends to heightened tensions surrounding immigration enforcement.
