New Airstrikes Decimate Iranian Infrastructure As Trump’s Deadline Approaches

Israeli warplanes struck rail lines and bridges across Iran on Tuesday, expanding a pressure campaign that is increasingly aimed at the regime’s ability to move men and materiel inside the country.

The airstrikes hit 10 railway lines and bridges, according to Israel’s Army Radio, which said the targets were used to transport weapons and missile launch platforms. Iranian media also reported U.S.-Israeli attacks on rail infrastructure in multiple areas.

There was no immediate word on casualties or the full scope of damage. Iranian authorities have not released fresh nationwide figures in recent days.

The strikes came just hours after the Israeli military warned Iranians to stay off trains and steer clear of rail stations, signaling a widening target set beyond missile sites and command nodes.

The escalation unfolds as President Donald Trump’s deadline for Tehran is closing in. Trump has publicly warned that Iran has a limited window to accept a peace framework and halt its aggression, and he has repeatedly said the U.S. is prepared to intensify the campaign if the regime refuses.

Trump also has tied the timeline to the Strait of Hormuz, demanding Iran end its chokehold on global shipping routes and stop threatening energy flows. The White House has framed the ultimatum as a test of whether Tehran wants a deal, or wants to keep playing games while gas prices and global markets take the hit.

The regional war has been raging since the U.S. and Israel launched an offensive against Iran on Feb. 28, decapitating much of Tehran’s senior leadership and killing then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, according to earlier reports. Iranian retaliation has included drone and missile attacks aimed at Israel and U.S.-aligned targets across the region, including Gulf states hosting American military assets, disrupting aviation and rattling markets.

With rail arteries now in the crosshairs, the latest strikes appear designed to squeeze Iran’s mobility and logistics, forcing the regime to choose between coming to the table or watching more of its critical infrastructure get shredded as Trump’s deadline draws nearer.
