US Senator Makes Tragic Announcement: ‘Heartbroken Beyond Words’

Sen. Mark Warner and his wife, Lisa Collis, announced Monday that their daughter, Madison Warner, has died at age 36 following a long battle with health problems.

The Virginia Democrat and Collis said their daughter passed away after a “decades-long” fight with juvenile diabetes and other health issues.

The family said they are “heartbroken beyond words” and asked for privacy as they grieve.
