BREAKING: FBI Raids Powerful Democrat Politician
Federal agents descended on the office of L. Louise Lucas in Portsmouth, Virginia, as part of what officials describe as a major corruption investigation, according to a report from Bill Melugin.
Melugin, posting on X, wrote: “BREAKING: Fox News is on scene in Portsmouth, VA where the FBI is raiding the office of Virginia Senate President Pro Tempore L Louise Lucas, a Democrat and close ally of VA Governor Spanberger. Fed law enforcement sources tell FOX this is in connection to a major corruption probe, and the FBI is serving multiple search warrants, approved by a federal judge, at her office and a next door cannabis dispensary.”
“More to come with correspondent Alex Hogan, who reports that Lucas just showed up on scene as the FBI searches her office,” Melugin finished.

The FBI executed multiple court-approved search warrants at Lucas’ office and a neighboring cannabis dispensary, according to the report. Authorities have not publicly detailed the scope of the investigation or any potential charges.
Lucas, a powerful figure in Virginia politics and a key ally of Gov. Abigail Spanberger, arrived at the scene while agents were still conducting the search, Fox News correspondent Alex Hogan reported.

The raid comes as Lucas has remained active on social media, where she has recently mocked Republicans following the narrow passage of the state’s redistricting referendum.
Neither the FBI nor Lucas’ office immediately responded to requests for comment. The investigation appears ongoing.
