Biden Seemingly Swipes At Trump Over Kanye’s Comments, But Jewish Leaders Heap Praise On Him

President Joe Biden apparently decided to get involved in the nonsense going around on social media concerning rap legend Kanye West, who seems to be deep in the throes of a manic episode that is taking him far, far off the rails, taking a shot at former President Donald Trump while simultaneously condemning the famous rhymer slinger’s recent antisemitic comments. Which is really, really rich when you think about it, seeing as how many in his own party have made similar comments, but there was not so much as a peep from him about it.

According to the Daily Wire, “West has been spouting anti-Semitic hate since an apparent dinner ambush of Trump at his Mar-a-Lago home two days before Thanksgiving. West, who brought a pair of uninvited guests known for their anti-Semitic views, followed up the dinner with interviews including a Thursday session with Alex Jones in which he lavished praise on Adolf Hitler. In condemning West’s comments, Biden appeared to accuse Trump of giving the spiraling rap and fashion mogul a forum, although he did not use his name.”

“I just want to make a few things clear: The Holocaust happened,” Biden said in his tweet. “Hitler was a demonic figure. And instead of giving it a platform, our political leaders should be calling out and rejecting antisemitism wherever it hides. Silence is complicity.”

“Trump, whose daughter Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, are Orthodox Jews, has said he only agreed to meet with West because they have known each other for years and West appears to be in the throes of a meltdown that some believe was brought on by mental illness,” the report said.

I just want to make a few things clear:

The Holocaust happened.

Hitler was a demonic figure.

And instead of giving it a platform, our political leaders should be calling out and rejecting antisemitism wherever it hides.

However, Biden did not issue a rebuke in 2021 when far-left radicals in “The Squad” accused Israel of enforcing “apartheid” as well as committing acts of “terrorism” against Palestinians, according to reports published by The Times Of Israel.

“Those claims from Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), and Cori Bush (D-MO) prompted four Jewish House Democrats to write Biden seeking his response. If he offered one, it was never made public,” the DW report stated.

During his presidency, Trump made it clear he was pro-Israel. Rabbi Dov Fischer, in a piece that came out on Nov. 30 in the American Spectator, heaped praise on the former president for a number of pro-Israel actions taken during his years in the Oval Office.

“After nearly half a century of broken promises by other American presidents, Trump formally declared and America recognized United Jerusalem as Israel’s capital,” Fischer said. “He moved America’s Israel embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.”

Fischer then lifted Trump up for recognizing Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights region, affirming Jewish communities and cities located in Judea and Samaria, while also taking action to cut hundreds of millions in funding to the Palestinian Authority because of payments to the families of terrorists.

He also praised the former president for shutting down the Palestinian Liberation Organization office located in our nation’s capital, pulling our country out of the very anti-Israel U.N. Human Rights Council; slashing $300 million in funding to the UNRWA, an agency with the U.N. that helps run schools where Muslim kids are indoctrinated to hate Jews.

“Trump also helped bring about the Abraham Accords, a deal in which several key Arab Muslim countries entered into peace agreements with Israel,” the Daily Wire continued.

Biden, on the other hand, has been accused in both his current role as president and vice president during the Obama era, of leaking information damaging to the Jewish nation.  Prime Minister Menachem Begin put Biden in his place when he slammed his fist on a table during a hearing before the Foreign Relations Committee to add a little “umph” to his demand that Israel stop establishing new Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria.

“This desk is designed for writing, not for fists,” Begin rebuked Biden. “Don’t threaten us with slashing aid. Do you think that because the U.S. lends us money it is entitled to impose on us what we must do? We are grateful for the assistance we have received, but we are not to be threatened. I am a proud Jew. Three thousand years of culture are behind me, and you will not frighten me with threats.”
