Spencer Pratt Endorsed By Iconic News Outlet

Spencer Pratt just got a major boost in Los Angeles’ mayoral race, with The California Post throwing its endorsement behind the reality TV star-turned-candidate.

The outlet said Pratt is a political newcomer who jumped into the contest after losing his family home in the Palisades Fire. It argued that the painfully slow rebuilding effort helped push him from frustrated resident to candidate.

The California Post said Pratt could have been dismissed as a protest vote if the campaign began and ended with wildfire anger. Instead, it claimed he’s shown a strong grasp of what’s driving everyday complaints across the city, along with a serious interest in fixing what it called a broken system.

In its endorsement, the outlet framed Pratt as the most “pragmatic” option in a race it slammed as dominated by “incompetence” and “ideological idiocy.” It credited Pratt with focusing on issues it said matter most to working Angelenos.

Among them: homelessness, violent crime, deteriorating roads, shrinking water supplies, repeated tax hikes, job losses in Hollywood, residents leaving the city and ongoing corruption at City Hall.

The endorsement also argued Los Angeles is overdue for change after decades of one-party rule. It praised former Mayor Richard Riordan as the “last great mayor,” and said the city has gone “from good to bad to worse” under later leaders, including Karen Bass.

The California Post said Pratt’s policy proposals make him the candidate best positioned to deliver a shake-up at City Hall, and it urged voters to back him.
