Sam Brinton, the infamous non-binary Biden Administration staffer has officially exited the post after multiple charges of theft began to stack up…

Brinton was charged with after committing several crimes, stealing thousands of dollars of luggage from two airports. Since the felony theft charges, Brinton was placed on leave from the Department of Energy. Brinton is set to appear in court on December 19th and if found guilty could face up to five years in prison.

The Department of Energy told Fox News Digital, that Brinton was no longer an employee of the Department of Energy late Monday night. It also appears that the Biden Administration wanted to distance itself from Brinton after the Department of Energy specifically told Fox News that Brinton was a quote-unquote “Biden official” despite being the deputy assistant secretary for spent fuel and waste disposition, which is a high profile job in Biden’s Energy administration.

It’s currently unclear if Brinton was fired or if the former-employee resigned from the post on Monday night. The Department of Energy went on to say that “by law, the Department of Energy cannot comment further on personnel matters.”

The charges against Brinton are for grand larceny with a value between $1,200 and $5,000, according to the warrant itself. Grand larceny in the state of Nevada is a category B felony and is punishable with one to ten years in prison. Not to mention it can also come with up to a $10,000 fine.

The instance in Minneapolis took place on September 16th, where Brinton was accused of stealing a suitcase worth around $2,325. The crimes don’t stop there according to new reports, the former Biden official went on to steal from the Las Vegas airport.

Brinton went on to admit to taking the “Vera Bradley” suitcase but refused to say they were stealing and claimed they thought it was theirs.

Since the felony theft charge, Brinton was been placed on leave from the Department of Energy. Brinton is set to appear in court on December 19th and if found guilty could face up to five years in prison.

This of course grants the wishes of multiple GOP lawmakers who were calling on the Biden Administration to axe Brinton from his post. 16 GOP members of Congress signed their names to a letter calling for the removal of Brinton most notably, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Andy Biggs and Louie Gohmert.

Read some excerpts from that letter below:

“It is simply not possible for an individual to represent American values and simultaneously violate the felony laws of the land.”

“Brinton’s actions, along with your Department’s lack of transparency when dealing with this matter, reflect poorly on the Department of Energy, and they raise concern as to the Biden Administration’s priorities when appointing high-ranking officials.”

It appears as if the letter worked considering that Brinton is now officially apart of Biden’s energy team and subject to quite a lengthy prison sentence.
