Trump’s Not Done Yet, New 2024 Poll Shocks Anti-Trump Conservatives
Anti-Trumpers in the Republican party are starting to sweat as President Trump has a firm 23-point lead in a new Harvard-Harris poll. These “Never Trumpers” like Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney have and slandered Trump and his ability to “win”. However, according to this new poll, Trump won’t have a hard time doing that.
The new poll, taken between December 13 – 15, shows Trump leading all other potential GOP options in a 2024 primary race by a wide margin.
The Daily Wire reports:
When only GOP voters were asked, “If the Republican presidential primary for the 2024 election was held today, who would you vote for?,” the 45th president secured 48% of support, Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) earned 25%, and former Vice President Mike Pence received six percent of the vote. No other possible challengers scored more than four percent of the vote.
Removing Trump from the equation, it seems many poll respondents shifted their preference to DeSantis, who came in first place with 48% support, Pence was bumped up to 15% in that scenario, and former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley received five percent of the vote.

Pence 6%
Haley 4%

The survey also showed that if the GOP base was only given two options – Trump or DeSantis – they still favored Trump by a big majority.
Trump won that hypothetical scenario 55% to 45%.
However, when Independents were thrown into the fray, DeSantis held a slight edge, beating Trump 52% to 48%.
