NEW: Heartbreaking Details Emerge As Barron Trump Is Kept In ‘Security Bubble’ Amid Threats Against His Life
Barron Trump has largely vanished from public view, retreating behind a tight security shield as threats against the first family continue to mount.
The 20-year-old first son recently completed his sophomore year at New York University but has reportedly spent much of his summer alongside first lady Melania Trump at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey.
“He doesn’t go out,” one longtime Trumpworld figure told The Post.
Barron Trump’s heartbreaking seclusion comes as the family confronts a wave of political violence, including at least three attempts on President Donald Trump’s life since July 2024.
Trump was shot and wounded during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, before another would-be assassin allegedly tracked him at his golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida, that September. The president and first lady were also at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner when a gunman attacked the event on April 25.
Barron has now landed in the crosshairs himself.
Iranian hardliners recently released a disturbing video titled “Where to kill Barron Trump,” which purported to track the first son’s movements. The group also reportedly placed a $10 million bounty on him.
Melania Trump has faced threats from Iranian hardliners as well, adding to the security concerns surrounding the family.

Barron was also shaken by the September 2025 assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, with whom he had developed a close relationship.
“This is what happens when you go out there,” Barron told his father as he informed him of Kirk’s death.
The exchange was first revealed by Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan in their book “Regime Change” and later confirmed by The Post.
The Office of the First Lady has urged the media to keep details about Barron Trump’s private life out of public view as authorities grapple with the recent threats.
“In light of recent threats,” the East Wing asked that “any details concerning his private life be excluded from all coverage,” the office told The Post.
Melania has long been fiercely protective of her only son, particularly when it comes to shielding him from the political spotlight.
Those concerns stretch back years. In early 2022, Donald Trump was between his two White House terms, putting Barron on track to lose his Secret Service protection when he turned 16 that March.
