BREAKING: Trump Bans CNN, Other ‘Fake News’ Outlets From White House Grounds
President Donald Trump said Friday he was shutting CNN, MS NOW and Politico out of the White House immediately, accusing the outlets of false reporting and warning that others could be next.
“Other Fake News Media Outlets to follow,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
The president took aim at the organizations individually, mocking MS NOW’s name change from MSNBC and attacking federal spending on Politico subscriptions under the Biden administration.
Trump alleged those payments were intended to keep Politico afloat. He also blamed MS NOW’s rebranding on poor viewership and credibility.
The announcement targeted all three outlets over their coverage of the president and his administration. Trump said media organizations “shouldn’t be able to constantly write or report FICTION and LIES.”
“I am proud to announce that, effective immediately, I am banning Fake News CNN, MSNOW, and Politico (The recipients of an illegal and ridiculous $8 Million Dollar subscription, an All Time Record, directly from the United States Government, under Crooked Joe Biden, in order to keep them “alive.” Seems like corruption to me!), from the White House as a result of their constant “reporting” FAKE NEWS!” his post reads.
“Media Outlets shouldn’t be able to constantly write or report FICTION and LIES when they’re covering the President of the United States, the Trump Administration, or the United States of America. Other Fake News Media Outlets to follow.”

Trump, who frequently accuses mainstream outlets of producing “fake news,” did not single out a specific story that triggered the move or explain how the White House would carry out the ban.
