NEW: White House Debuts 24/7 ‘Trump TV’ Livestream

The White House on Monday launched a round-the-clock video stream titled “TRUMP TV: The Essentials Station.” The feed began at 7 p.m. Eastern Time on the official White House YouTube channel. It is also available at whitehouse.gov/live, and through the White House mobile app.

“Watch the Trump Administration’s biggest moments all in one place. Top videos, major remarks, and must-see highlights streaming 24/7 and updated in real time. Stay informed and stay up to date,” the stream’s public description reads.

Officials have described the service as a continuously updated loop of White House-produced video, not a conventional newscast with anchors or live commentary. “Welcome to TrumpTV. The press, in some cases, reported inaccurately or not at all on the Administration’s many record breaking accomplishments on behalf of all Americans. Trump TV is a 24/7 livestream of the Administration’s greatest hits, unfiltered. All on the White House YouTube Channel and Official App. ENJOY,” Deputy Assistant to the President Kaelan Dorr wrote after the loss.

The first programming included a recording of President Donald Trump’s July 3, 2026, speech at Mount Rushmore. Early content also included same-day White House video, including footage from a ribbon-cutting for a new helipad on the South Grounds.

The launch occurred during a dispute over White House press access. On Friday, Trump announced that CNN, MS NOW, and Politico were barred from the White House. On Monday, those organizations filed a federal lawsuit seeking restoration of credentials

Trump discussed the dispute while speaking with reporters in New York on Monday. “They said they were going to boycott me, but they never boycott me. So I wasn’t very worried about that. Look at all that press,” he said.

“I think that these outlets have an obligation to be fair. And if they’re fake news, I really think I have an obligation not to allow them into another very special house,” the president added.

A White House statement said the First Amendment protects the right to publish but “does not grant them a right to a permanent press pass, a seat in the briefing room, or a spot in the press pool.” It added, “No president is required to host a hostile outlet on White House grounds.”
