BREAKING: Ilhan Omar’s Home Raided By DHS

Federal investigators searched Rep. Ilhan Omar’s Washington home before dawn Monday as a fraud probe into the Minnesota Democrat’s immigration records reached her doorstep, Fox News reported.

Agents wearing Homeland Security Investigations jackets were spotted outside the residence in the early morning hours. A source familiar with the matter told Fox the congresswoman’s home had been raided.

“Today in the Washington, D.C., area, Homeland Security Investigations executed a judicially authorized search warrant secured by the Department of Justice. This enforcement action is part of an ongoing federal investigation,” a DOJ spokesperson told Fox News Digital.

The statement did not name Omar or specify what investigators were seeking.

According to Fox, the investigation centers on alleged fraud involving immigration paperwork that Omar’s late father completed when the Somali-born lawmaker was a child.

Monday’s search followed weeks of public scrutiny over the probe. Border czar Tom Homan said in mid-September that Ilhan Omar was under an ongoing “criminal” investigation. Two sources close to the investigation confirmed details to Fox on Thursday.

Homeland Security Investigations serves as the Department of Homeland Security’s main investigative arm. Its agents handle cases involving international and cross-border threats, including drug smuggling, human trafficking, child sexual exploitation, and cybercrime. The agency also participates in counterterrorism operations.
