NEW: Woke Actress Arrested After Attacking Delta Flight Crew

Hollywood actress Selma Blair found herself in handcuffs Sunday night after allegedly attacking two Delta Air Lines flight attendants and attempting to open an aircraft door thousands of feet above the ground.

The 54-year-old “Legally Blonde” star was arrested after a frightening midair disturbance aboard Delta Flight 938, which was traveling from Los Angeles International Airport to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.

According to reports from TMZ and the Daily Mail, Blair allegedly tried to open an emergency door while the aircraft was in flight, prompting crew members to intervene.

Things reportedly turned physical when the actress allegedly punched one flight attendant and bit another during the confrontation.

Authorities confirmed that two crew members reported injuries, with one requiring hospital treatment.

Port Authority police responded around 11 p.m. Sunday after the aircraft arrived at JFK, where Blair was taken into custody and transported to a hospital for evaluation.

Delta wasted little time addressing the incident, making clear that celebrity status does not excuse dangerous behavior aboard its aircraft.

‘Delta has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first.’

Port Authority officials confirmed the arrest and revealed that federal investigators are now examining the incident.

‘On Sunday October 11 at approximately 11pm at JFK Airport, PAPD responded to a call about a physically abusive passenger aboard Delta Airlines flight 938 which was parked at the gate after arrival from LAX.

‘Suspect was identified as Selma Blair, a 54 year-old woman. She was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for evaluation.

‘Two flight attendants also reported injuries, and one was transported to the hospital for further evaluation. The FBI is investigating this incident. For further information please reach out the airline and the FBI.’

Blair’s representative subsequently attributed the alleged outburst to a medical emergency, insisting the actress received treatment immediately after landing.

‘Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct. Upon landing, she received immediate medical attention and is currently in stable condition.’

The latest incident is not Blair’s first troubling experience aboard a commercial flight.

In 2016, the actress was removed from a Delta flight returning from Cancun after reportedly mixing alcohol with prescription medication and becoming disruptive.

Blair later publicly apologized, admitting the combination caused her to black out and behave in ways she regretted.

Two years later, the actress revealed she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a chronic neurological disease that can affect mobility, vision and memory.

She has since spoken openly about her health struggles and revealed last year that she was experiencing no MS relapses and feeling well.

There has been no confirmation that her medical condition played any role in Sunday’s incident.

The latest allegations present another serious controversy for the Hollywood star, particularly given the reported injuries to airline employees responsible for passenger safety.

The FBI is investigating, and authorities have not publicly detailed any formal criminal charges.
