Country Singer Apologizes to Drag Queen for Country Music Not Being Woke Enough

Country singer Maren Morris seems intent on ruining country music and turning it woke, as she showed during a recent appearance on drag queen RuPaul’s “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”

The Hollywood Reporter, reporting on her appearance on that show, said:

Maren Morris got emotional as she fulfilled a “decade-long dream” of serving as a guest judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

The country star appeared on Friday’s episode of the series and that night tweeted: “I’ve done some cool s—. #DragRace is rivaling it all. Getting my jacket framed next to my Grammy. It is DONE.”

In a post-episode Untucked clip, Morris was teary-eyed as she spoke from her heart to the room.

It was then, during that “teary-eyed” bit, Morris attacked her own industry and gave the “wokes” even more ammunition with which it can be attacked, saying:

“Coming from country music and its relationship with LGBTQ+ members, I just want to say I’m sorry. And I love you guys for making me feel like a brave voice in country music. So I just thank you guys so much for inspiring me.”

This isn’t the only recent “woke” moment Morris had.

Back in August, for example, Morris sided with the woke left and went on the warpath against Brittany Aldean, the “unapologetically conservative” wife of country star Jason Aldean.

That attack came when Brittany called out letting kids become transgender, particularly surgeries and other medical decisions that the left refers to as “gender-affirming care.” Sounding off on that “care,” Brittany said it was “one of the worst evils.”

Morris lost her mind over that remark, with her and Cassadee Popel calling Brittany Aldean “Insurrection Barbie” and calling her a “scumbag human.” Specifically, Morris said “It’s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human? Sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie.”

Morris also got in a spat over that with Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson, who called her a lunatic because of her freak-out. Instead of taking a moment to reflect on if she really wanted to be the “transing the kids” girl, she went full-bore woke and created a t-shirt that said “lunatic country music person.” She donated $10k of the proceeds to GLAAD’s “Transgender Media Program” and “Trans Lifeline.”

And that wasn’t the end of it. Later, in November of 2022, Morris attacked former Hallmark star Candace Cameron Bure for saying that she wants to “keep traditional marriage at the core” of content on the network she’s now working for, Great American Family.

So all that led to now, with Morris appearing on RuPaul’s drag show and attacking the country music industry on it. The official RuPaul’s Drag Race Instagram account thanked her for doing so, saying “We love an ally! So grateful @marenmorris stopped by #Untucked to support our Queens with this heartfelt message.”
