“Reason Why He’s Unemployed”: Tucker, Others DEMOLISH Brian Stelter after WEF Event [WATCH]

Brian Stelter recently appeared at the World Economic Forum in Davos to host an event during which speakers discussed the topic of “disinformation”, with the obvious insinuation being that Trump and the populists are evildoers that spread “disinformation”.

Tucker Carlson, always a nemesis of Stelter and one of his funniest critics, used the opportunity to hilariously mock the former CNN personality who was fired when new CEO Chris Licht took over and started attempting to make the network reputable again. Watch Tucker mock Stelter here:

Continuing, he then brought up Stelter, saying“This year – we’re not making this up – America’s favorite unemployed media critic. Mr. Brian Stelter, ladies and gentlemen. Watch.”

And that’s when it cut to Stelter speaking at his “disinformation” event, saying “The clear and present danger of disinformation is our conversation here this afternoon. It follows a session just now about disrupting distrust and of course, those are connected. So I hope that’s where we can start. I’m Brian Stelter, formerly of CNN, now a fellow at Harvard University. A reminder, the hashtag is WEF23. We can try to put some real information out into the world to make up for all the crazy.”

Tucker then returned and started mocking them again and exposing what he views as being the danger of what the WEF is all about, saying ‘”Make up for all the crazy.’ The conclusion this year at the World Economic Forum is that people who are not at the World Economic Forum have too much free speech, too many bad ideas, too much crazy and too much opportunity to talk. They’re still talking out there. Stop them before they talk some more. ”

And that wasn’t all, continuing, Tucker then continued his takedown of the WEF generally, saying “So if you’re getting the impression that the world’s most mediocre people and least self-aware people are all congregating in Switzerland this week, you are on to something. In fact, it might be worth getting an attendee list just to make certain that not a single person who was there this week ever has power over you in any way. If one of these people shows up supervising the bake sale at your kid’s school, call the police. They’re not qualified.”

And Tucker was far from the only one to mock Stelter. Newsbusters’ Tim Graham, for example, said, in reference to the topic of the Stetler talk, “As opposed to ‘The Clear and President Danger of Suppressing Truthful Information that Liberals Claim Is Disinformation.’”

Joining in the fun was Mike Crispi, a podcast host. He said “Brian Stelter hosting a panel about disinformation at the WEF tells you everything you need to know about the WEF.”

Then there was Brandon Morse, who said “It should worry you that elitists are trying to redefine the word ‘misinformation’ and they’re choosing this guy to represent their redefinition.”

Perhaps best of all was the tweet by Stephen Miller of Spectator World. He said “Brian Stelter just sitting there instead of challenging this petty fascist is a big reason why he’s unemployed.”
