WATCH: Trump Shreds Biden in “Real State of the Union” Address

Joe Biden might not have even given his State of the Union speech yet, but that didn’t stop former President Donald Trump from shredding him and the state of the country under his presidency. Trump did so in a short video on the “real state of the union” in which he hit the highlights of Biden’s failures. Particularly, he sounded off on the border, crime, and the economy without pulling any punches.

Beginning that attack, Trump started with a jab in an area that’s his most obvious strength and Biden’s most obvious weak point: the disaster at the border. To do so, he started by saying:

“Here’s the real state of the union. Over the past two years under Biden, millions and millions of illegal aliens from 160 different countries, have stormed across our southern border.”

Continuing, he then moved on to the fentanyl crisis, saying “Drug cartels are now raking in billions of dollars from smuggling poison to kill our people and to kill our children.”

Sticking to the topic of crime but moving away from the border, he then savaged the crime uptick under Biden. Speaking on that, he said “Savage killers, rapists and violent criminals are being released from jail to continue their crime wave. And under Biden, the murder rate has reached the highest in the history of our country.”

And Trump didn’t hesitate to call out those he thought were responsible for America’s woes, particularly in the economic realm, saying that “radical Democrats” had “wasted trillions of dollars and caused the worst inflation in half a century” and that “Real wages are down 21 months in a row.” In other words: Biden’s economy is an utter disaster.

To correct all those errors, former President Trump pledged to reverse the “destruction of our country” and return to making America great again if re-elected in 2024, saying:

“I am running for president to end the destruction of our country and to complete the unfinished business of making America great again. We will make our country better than ever before, and will always put America first.”

But that preemptive rebuttal of Biden wasn’t all Trump had to say on the matter. Knowing that the base wants to see even more of him taking the fight to President Biden, Trump then pledged to do so in a play-by-play series of Truth Social posts on what Biden was saying in his State of the Union address.

“I will be doing, by popular request, a live and full ‘Play by Play’ analysis of The State of the Union Address, TONIGHT ON ‘TRUTH’ AT 9:00 P.M.

“If properly done, and if Joe has just a modestly good night, this speech has the opportunity to rival any of the World’s great orators, including, Lincoln, Washington, and, of course, the late, great, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Sir Winston Churchill. Watch Truth Social tonight. Enjoy!”

If it’s anything like his preemptive rebuttal or his past, hilarious social media takedowns of his enemies, the Truth Social post will certainly be something that many “enjoy”.
