BREAKING: Mitch McConnell Sides With Dems, Says It Was A “Mistake” For Tucker To Release New J6 Footage

On Tuesday, GOP Senator Mitch McConnell expressed his discontent for Tucker Carlson and Fox News for sharing the never-before-seen footage from January 6th. His outlook perfectly lines up with Senator Chuck Schumer and all other Democrats in Congress.

“With regard to the presentation on Fox News last night, I want to associate myself entirely with the opinion of the chief of the Capitol police about what happened on Jan. 6,” McConnell told reporters on Tuesday afternoon.

“My concern is how it was depicted. Clearly the chief of the Capitol Police, in my view, correctly described what most of us witnessed firsthand on Jan. 6,” he said.

“It was a mistake, in my view, [for] Fox News to depict this in a way completely at variance with what our chief law enforcement official here at the Capitol” McConnell added.

As we mentioned above, Schumer was outraged at Carlson, melting down and saying “to say January 6th was not violent, is a lie… a lie pure and simple.”

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen an anchor treat the American people and American democracy with such disdain,” he finished.
