REPORT: Growing Rift Between Biden & Kamala Harris, Biden Upset She is Not ‘Rising to the Occasion’

Reports have surfaced that President Joe Biden is disappointed with Vice President Kamala Harris’ performance as his second-in-command, with comments from top officials within the Biden administration revealing some of the President’s candid views on Harris.

According to the reports, the tension between Biden and Harris stems from a belief that she has not “risen to the occasion” and is failing to reduce his workload adequately. Some officials claimed that Harris is fearful of making mistakes, leading to her being late in joining important political battles, such as the ongoing border crisis and Ukraine conflict.

A former White House official close to the scene remarked, “A point of tension in their relationship is that I don’t think that the president sees her as somebody who takes anything off of his plate” because of her “fear of messing up.'”

While some officials have come forward to defend Harris, citing her previous work as a senator and attorney general in California, others have expressed concern about her ability to effectively support the President. One former official suggested that Harris’ performance was a factor in Biden’s decision to run for re-election.

“If he did not think she was capable, he would not have picked her. But it is a question of consistently rising to the occasion,” the official said.
