Rep. Nadler Gets Laughed at During Hearing After Accusing Jim Jordan of Doing ‘Trump’s Bidding’

In a House Judiciary Committee hearing today, Ranking Member Jerry Nadler faced criticism and laughter after suggesting that Chairman Jim Jordan was doing the bidding of former President Donald Trump. The hearing, which was supposed to be focused on crime in New York City, came just weeks after Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg indicted Trump.

Nadler said, “The Chairman is doing the bidding of Donald Trump.” The audience then erupted in laughter and you could hear one member even remark, “You got to be kidding me.”

Nadler continued, “Committee Republicans have designed this hearing to intimidate and deter the duly elected district attorney of Manhattan from doing the work his constituents elected him to do.”

Trump’s political persecution has become a contentious topic now that the wheels are rolling on his indictment. Democrats continue to complain about election interference but have no problem dismantling the top GOP candidate’s campaign for 2024.

Nadler, a Democratic Congressman for New York’s 10th Congressional District, serves parts of both Manhattan and Brooklyn. Nadler is known for his Leftist views and has always been a vocal critic of former President Donald Trump.
