Melania Trump Breaks Silence On 2024 Election In Rare Interview

Former First Lady Melania Trump is steadfastly standing behind her husband’s bid to return to the White House, declaring, “he has my support” and that it would be a “privilege” to again be the nation’s First Lady.

Speaking with Fox News Digital, Melania Trump granted viewers a rare glimpse into her role as President Donald Trump’s confidant and champion, saying she would reprise her role as an advocate for children to ensure they have the “support and resources they need to reach their full potential.” Trump oversaw the White House’s “Be Best” initiative focused on physical and emotional well-being while battling cyberbullying and opioid abuse.

“My focus would continue to be creating a safe and nurturing space for children to learn, grow, and thrive,” she said to Fox News recently. “If additional problems arise, I will take the time to study them and understand their root causes.”

During a previous interview with the network, Fox’s Pete Hegseth shared the screen with Michael Weitzman, the first recipient of the Fostering The Future scholarship founded by Melania Trump. Weitzman spoke about growing up in a foster home, being born to a single 18-year-old mom and living in eight different homes and later being forced to leave his foster family at 15 years old. The scholarship will allow Weitzman to attend college.

“I wish you a great success. I know you are starting classes in the fall, and make your dreams come true. Study hard and send me your grades,” said Trump.

The spouse to President Trump left her mark on the White House in other ways, including restoration projects and historic preservation of the grounds. She sought to model herself after former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis who played an equally vital role in her husband John F. Kennedy’s administration. Trump teased her interest in returning to the White House shortly before President Trump announced his reelection plans in November.

Recent polls suggest President Trump is the frontrunner to capture the Republican Party’s nomination against incumbent President Joe Biden. On Sunday, ABC News host George Stephanopoulos appeared stunned as he reported on Trump’s clear 7-point lead over Biden, who has seen support sag in key demographics as high inflation and interest rates dampen enthusiasm for a second term.
