BREAKING: Former Republican Lawmaker Is Helping Hunter Biden With Legal Woes

Former Representative Denver Riggleman (R-VA) is reported by The Daily Caller as aiding Hunter Biden’s legal team over the president’s son financial and laptop data issues. Mr. Riggleman is working on assessing the data found on Hunter Biden’s laptop as the team faces a congressional inquiry into the sweetheart deal the president’s son received from the Department of Justice.

This is not the first time that Riggleman crossed party lines over matters of congressional oversight. He was also involved in the House’s January 6th Committee as a technical advisor. The former lawmaker, a vocal Anti-Trumper, authored a book, “The Breach: The Untold Story of the Investigation into January 6th“, where he linked the January 6th riot to conspiracies by QAnon and argued that far right wing extremism posed a threat to American democracy.

Riggleman was the representative of Virginia’s 5th congressional district from 2019 to 2021. He was defeated in the 2020 Republican primary by 16 points. Bob Good, the victorious Republican primary challenger, called Riggleman “out of step with the base of the party.”

The former Virginian politician said about his assistance to Hunter Biden that “I and my forensics, data, and telephony team are conducting data investigations and analysis for Hunter Biden’s legal team” and they were gathering “data across the spectrum.”

One of Biden’s lawyers, Kevin Morris, confirmed that Riggleman was working with them and said of the former congressman that he was “invaluable resource” and that “We have made tremendous strides in untangling the massive amount of corruption and disinformation involved in this story. There will be much more coming to the public.” Riggleman appears to be assessing whether any of the information contained on the Hunter Biden laptop has been distorted or fabricated.

Back during the 2020 presidential election, Joe Biden’s campaign team got their former national security friends to write a letter calling the information on the laptop a possible Russian disinformation campaign.  The data from the laptop has been assessed by many major media outlets who have confirmed its authenticity. No link between the laptop and its data to a Russia disinformation operation has been proven.

The signatories of that national security expert letter have no regrets on their part. As James Clapper, a signatory, said, ” I don’t regret it. I thought, at the time, that it was appropriate to sound a warning about, watch out for the dark hand of the Russians. And in my case, this was on the heels of what I saw the Russians do in 2016 to interfere and influence the outcome of our election.” Yet the aged national security adviser admitted in the same statement that “we didn’t have any direct evidence” of Russian involvement.
