BREAKING: Grassley, Comer Release Form Alleging Biden Bribery Scheme

Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has released the unclassified FBI record that alleges the criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and a Ukrainian business executive. The document, known as an FD-1023 form, was obtained through legally protected disclosures by Justice Department whistleblowers.

The record describes the bribery scheme involving Biden and an executive from Burisma, a Ukrainian gas company. The CHS (Confidential Human Source) had a subsequent meeting with Mykola Zlochevsky, the founder of Burisma, in Vienna, Austria in 2016. During this meeting, Zlochevsky mentioned that Hunter Biden advised Burisma it could raise much more capital if Burisma purchased a larger US-based business that already had a history in the US oil and gas sector.

According to the document, Burisma executives hired Hunter Biden, Joe Biden’s son, to “protect us through his dad, from all kinds of problems.” At the time, Burisma was seeking to do business in the United States but was facing a corruption investigation in Ukraine.

The document further alleges that Burisma CEO Mykola Zlochevsky claimed to have paid $5 million each to Hunter Biden and Joe Biden. Zlochevsky reportedly used the term ‘poluchili,’ Russian crime slang for being “forced or coerced to pay.”

Zlochevsky also claimed to have numerous text messages and recordings that show he was coerced into paying the Bidens to ensure the firing of then-Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin. He also claimed to have two documents, presumably financial records, as evidence of the arrangement. However, he stated that he did not send any funds directly to Joe Biden, referred to as the “Big Guy.”

The CHS had a telephone call with Zlochevsky in 2016, during which Zlochevsky stated he was “pushed” to pay the Bidens. Zlochevsky also mentioned that he had many text messages and “recordings” that show he was coerced to make such payments. He additionally mentioned that it would take investigators 10 years to find the records of illicit payments to Joe Biden. These recordings allegedly suggest that Zlochevsky was coerced into paying the Bidens to ensure Ukraine Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin was fired.

Senator Grassley has been pushing the Justice Department and FBI for details on its handling of these allegations for the better part of a year. He criticized the FBI for trying to obfuscate and redact the document and praised the whistleblowers for their bravery in disclosing the information.

House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer echoed Grassley’s sentiments, stating that the FBI’s record aligns with evidence uncovered by the Oversight Committee’s investigation into the Biden family’s business dealings.

He said, “In the FBI’s record, the Burisma executive claims that he didn’t pay the ‘big guy’ directly but that he used several bank accounts to conceal the money. That sounds an awful lot like how the Bidens conduct business: using multiple bank accounts to hide the source and total amount of the money.”

Despite delays and a highly redacted version of the document initially provided by the FBI, Grassley and Comer have continued their joint inquiry into the FBI’s handling of significant, politically charged investigations.

Grassley first disclosed the FBI’s possession of significant and voluminous evidence of potential criminality involving the Biden family last year. He eventually partnered with Comer on a subpoena to compel its public disclosure. After the FBI’s failure to fully comply with the congressional subpoena, Grassley received the legally protected disclosure with limited redactions to protect a trusted FBI source, handling agents, department whistleblowers, and identifiers related to other ongoing investigations.

The release of this document comes at a time of heightened scrutiny of the Biden family’s business dealings. The document’s allegations, if proven, could have significant implications for the Biden family and the current administration.
