Picture Of Jesse Watters Raises Eyebrows After Fans Notice Stunning Detail
The conservative bona fides of Jesse Watters, co-host of Fox News’ ‘The Five’ and host of ‘Jesse Watters Primetime’, were again called into question Wednesday after the would-be heir of Tucker Carlson was unexpectedly joined in a promo shot for X by a face-mask-wearing staffer.
The response from Watters’ and the network’s largely anti-masking, anti-vaccine mandate fanbase was swift and brutal. However, the first blows came from within political circles with Ron DeSantis’ Rapid Response Director Christina Pushaw, asking, “What’s the mask for?”

Eric Daugherty of Florida’s Voice News similarly asked, “It’s 2024, what’s with the mask?”

Dozens of commentators referred to the moment as a blatant virtue signal, while many took the opportunity to again question Jessica Tarlov’s involvement with the show. But it was C. Douglas Golden of The Western Journal who observed that the unfortunate post followed shortly after a response from Congressman Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) in an ongoing spat between the host and the once-prominent Republican.
As Golden recalled, Crenshaw responded Wednesday morning to a segment from Watters earlier in the week in which the Fox host implied that Crenshaw benefitted from the same insider trading that has plagued Congress, most exemplified by the statistic-defying success of the Pelosis to predict the market.
As reported by The Daily Caller, in a series of stories posted to Instagram, Crenshaw said that he had invested $10,000 in stocks and never made more than double that while serving in the House. He accused the Fox host of generating a “fake controversy to get clicks,” in an expletive-laden rejoinder.
“Hey you f***ing hack, if you’re gonna accuse me of literal corruption, get your facts straight and man up and come accuse me to my face. You’re a fucking clown, desperate for clickbait,” Crenshaw wrote in the post.
“I literally have $10,000 invested in stocks, and haven’t made trades in over a year. I have never had more than – $20k invested while in Congress,” he continued. “Fox knows this but they’re desperate for fake controversy to get clicks.”
“Watters is a tool, making millions to push conspiracies on tv, and bash veterans like me who are barely a fraction of his net worth. Wake up America. The political entertainment industry is almost always lying to you.”
Crenshaw also wrote that Fox canceled a pre-scheduled interview following the disagreement between the two.“LMFAO, Fox just cancelled an interview we had pre-scheduled tonight,” Crenshaw said. “Guess I hurt their feelings by calling out their bullshit.”
