JUST IN: Fox News Cancels GOP Congressman’s Appearance After Attack On Jesse Watters

A vicious spat between Congressman Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) and Fox News host Jesse Watters spilled into open online warfare Wednesday and resulted in the Texas congressmen getting the boot from a preplanned interview on the network’s business channel.

In a series of Instagram posts Tuesday, Rep. Crenshaw tore into Watters for accusing him of corruption and owning stocks, according to The Daily Caller. Shortly after he called the host a “f***ing clown” and a “hack,” he was informed that his interview with Fox Business Channel was being canceled.

“LMFAO, Fox just cancelled an interview we had pre-scheduled tonight,” Crenshaw wrote on his Instagram story. “Guess I hurt their feelings by calling out their bulls***.”

After posting a graph listing some of his other colleagues as among the highest stock earners in Congress, Rep. Crenshaw lobbed an acidic series of insults at Watters, accusing him of benefitting from a well-connected family while violating conservative principles by cheating on his first wife with a young producer at Fox.

“Hey you f***ing hack, if you’re gonna accuse me of literal corruption, get your facts straight and man up and come accuse me to my face. You’re a f***ing clown, desperate for clickbait,” Crenshaw began in his Instagram story. “Watters is a tool, making millions to push conspiracies on tv, and bash veterans like me who are barely a fraction of his net worth. Wake up America. The political entertainment industry is almost always lying to you.”

Posting a list showing he is 25th among congressional stock earners, Crenshaw captioned his Instagram post, “This is the list Watters is using. I’m pretty far down on it. Why choose me? Because he’s a f***ing clown chasing clicks. He knows people will recognize me and react.”

“I’m sitting here trying to feed my 3-month-old and this dirt bag millionaire at Fox is accusing me of being a criminal, with zero evidence,” Crenshaw’s story continued. “Stop watching these mediocre entertainers. Stop letting wealthy elitists like [Jesse] Watters claim to be ‘fighting for you.’ They live in Manhattan and can’t stand normal people in red states. They think you’re stupid and feed you bullshit to rile you up.”

Crenshaw then called out Watters for leaving his previous wife of ten years, Noelle Inguagiato, and their two young children for Emma DiGiovine, a then-27-year-old at Fox when the couple split in 2019.

“Losers like Watters grew up with a silver spoon. His family is made up of well-connected journalists and politicians. And for some reason, people are fooled into believing he’s some genuine blue-collar conservative. Yeah he’s such a ‘conservative’ he cheated on his wife and then left her with twins while he went off with another Fox producer,” Crenshaw said.

“And let’s be honest, Jesse Watters seems like the type of dude who pees sitting down,” he added.

The latest congressional stock disclosures show Rep. Crenshaw making a series of investments in Google’s parent company Alphabet, Inc., Facebook’s parent company Meta, Inc., Amazon, and Apple on October 25th, 2002. A spokesman for the congressman previously told The Daily Caller that “all of these transactions were under $2,000” and that the “investments were made when the market dipped, which is exactly what countless other Americans do when they invest in the stock market.”

Watters has so far not responded to Crenshaw’s deeply personal attacks.
