WATCH: Reporter Asks Hunter Biden If He’s Currently On Crack
A real gadfly of a reporter chased Hunter Biden down the halls of Congress Wednesday morning, asking the embattled son of President Joe Biden if he chose to smoke crack following his appearance at a contempt of Congress hearing by the House Oversight Committee.
The cheeky journo flanked a wall of reporters and aides pushing Hunter past the doors of the Oversight Committee. Hunter, looking straight ahead until the interaction, turned to glare at a young man filming with his phone while taunting Hunter with his questions.
“Hunter, what is your favorite type of crack?” the reporter asks. “Are you on crack today?”

It became clear that the reporter wasn’t done, interrupting a question-and-answer session by Hunter and attorney Abbe Lowell.
“What kind of crack do you normally smoke, Mr. Biden?” shouted the man as Lowell attempted to quiet the crowd.

The chaotic scene took place after Hunter and his attorneys fled the hearing room, apparently disgusted with the reasoning by Chair James Comer (R-KY), Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), and other Republicans who said his decision to skip pre-planned testimony last month was worthy of criminal charges. Before she had a chance to grill the embattled first son on his family’s business dealings, Rep. Greene shouted at Hunter’s back on his way out the doors.
“Excuse me, Hunter. Apparently, you’re afraid of my words?” taunted the Georgia lawmaker.
The president’s son and his attorneys continue to negotiate with committee leadership over the terms of testimony. After originally being subpoenaed, Hunter went on the offensive, demanding Republicans open the hearing up to the public. When Rep. Comer insisted the initial testimony be given behind closed doors, Hunter instead held his own press conference where he listed wide-ranging grievances against the House GOP, former President Donald Trump, and surrogates whom he blames for tarnishing his reputation.
On Thursday Hunter is scheduled to appear for an arraignment in Los Angeles federal court on new tax fraud charges brought by special counsel David Weiss. Since his appointment, the Delaware prosecutor has aggressively pursued justice outside his district, putting him at odds with Biden-friendly prosecutors and a Justice Department that was ready to drop all charges until whistleblowers came forward alleging political interference.
The investigation into Hunter is one prong in the House GOP’s strategy to pursue a full impeachment of President Biden, who they allege illegally profited off his time in office through his son’s business dealings. Other members of the family, including the president’s brother James Biden and his wife Sara, have been called for testimony about their reception of hundreds of thousands of dollars as a result of Hunter’s business dealings, some of which made its way to President Biden’s personal bank account.
