Biden Ruthlessly Heckled At Black Church: ‘None Of That Is True’
During a speech at the historic Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, President Joe Biden faced interruptions by protesters advocating for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict. The protestors, chanting “ceasefire now,” were met with chants of “four more years” from Biden’s supporters.
The church is notably the site of a tragic 2015 shooting. Biden addressed the protestors, mentioning his involvement in discussions with Israel regarding Gaza. His speech highlighted differences between himself and former President Donald Trump, focusing on claims of democracy and the falsehoods surrounding the 2020 election.
He also criticized former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley’s remarks about the Civil War and slavery. This occurred while Biden’s approval ratings, particularly among Black voters, are declining.
WATCH:
In his speech, Biden made several controversial statements. He claimed he was extensively involved with the Bethel AME Church in Wilmington, Delaware, a claim met with skepticism.
He described the 2020 BLM/Antifa protests as a significant justice movement, a view criticized for allegedly overlooking the associated violence and destruction.
Biden also recounted an anecdote about oil slicks in Delaware, a story that lacked concrete evidence and has been previously contested. These remarks were all in part of his attempt to engage with the Black community and address civil rights issues.
REACTIONS:
Why does Biden *always* lie about being in the civil rights movement? It has been repeatedly debunked.pic.twitter.com/LsYTfzBz2c

So this is the black church he has talked about? Was this before or after the Irish and Puerto Rican churches?
