Famous Actor Alec Musser’s Tragic Cause Of Death Revealed
The official cause of death for Alec Musser has been disclosed. According to a press release from the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office, the actor passed away from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, ruling it a suicide.
The press release further mentioned, “His fiancée last knew him to be alive on the evening of 01/12/2024 when she had gone to bed. On the morning of 01/13/2024, she awoke and went to find the decedent seated and slumped forward on the bathroom floor.”
“She noted a firearm near him and an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest and called 911. Paramedics and law enforcement responded and confirmed the death.”
Musser, best known for his role in the popular soap opera “All My Children” and the comedy film “Grown Ups,” died at his home in Del Mar, California.
Musser’s fiancée initially revealed that he had been suffering from a severe case of COVID-19, despite being vaccinated and boosted. Musser’s passing left his family, friends, and fans in shock, as he was known for his exceptional care of his body and health.
“He was a very healthy person,” Press said. “I mean he took exceptional care of his body and what went into it … He’d eat some cookies and that was the worst thing I ever saw him do.”
Press described Musser, her fiancé of just over a year, with heartfelt words. “Alec was a wonderful man. He was the best fiancé. The best dog dad. Very kind-hearted person,” she said. The outpouring of messages from those who knew him, even from his childhood, has been overwhelming for Press.
“Seeing how many messages and people have reached out to me from his childhood…In the last couple of days, people I’ve never even met, sending me photos of him from high school and when he was in their wedding…He was so loved and touched by so many people,” she shared, reflecting on the profound impact Musser had on many lives.
Musser’s career in entertainment was marked by his memorable roles and his charming presence. He gained fame through his portrayal of Del Henry in “All My Children,” a role he won after triumphing in the second season of SOAPnet’s “I Wanna Be a Soap Star.”
His performance in “Grown Ups,” alongside Adam Sandler, also garnered him significant attention. Sandler, deeply saddened by the news, paid tribute to Musser, describing him as a “wonderful, funny good man” and a “true great sweetheart of a person.”
