‘Yellowstone’ Actor Tragically Dies At 27
27-year-old actor Cole Brings Plenty, known for his role in the “Yellowstone” spinoff “1923,” has died. He was reported missing earlier this week and was found deceased on Friday, April 5, in Johnson County, Kansas. The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office reported finding his body in a wooded area near an unoccupied vehicle on a local property.
Sheriff Calvin Hayden’s office stated that deputies were initially called to the property following a report about the vehicle. They later identified the deceased as Brings Plenty. The cause of death has not been disclosed and the investigation is still ongoing.
Brings Plenty had been reported missing by his uncle, Moses Brings Plenty, who is also an actor on “Yellowstone.” He was last seen in Lawrence, Kansas on March 31. His uncle used social media to seek public assistance in locating him.
The Lawrence Kansas Police Department subsequently identified him as a suspect in a domestic violence incident at an apartment complex on the morning of his last sighting. He left the scene before police arrived and was captured by traffic cameras as he drove away from the city.

Police responded to a report of a woman screaming for help but Brings Plenty had fled before they arrived. The incident details have been kept limited to protect the victim’s privacy.
After his death was confirmed, authorities in Lawrence said they were supporting the family and investigators at the scene. Moses Brings Plenty shared a family statement on Instagram, written by Joe Brings Plenty, thanking everyone for their prayers and positive thoughts during this difficult time.
