WATCH: Trump Makes Whoopi Goldberg Lose It In Unhinged Meltdown On ‘The View’
During Tuesday’s highly charged episode of “The View,” former President Donald Trump sparked a fiery rant from co-host Whoopi Goldberg, who visibly struggled to maintain her composure during the discussion. The topic that ignited the debate was Trump’s recent comments in an interview with TIME regarding an “anti-white” sentiment in the United States, a point the former president has made several times in the past.
Trump recently finished a comprehensive interview with TIME at his Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, followed by an additional conversation over the phone on April 27. The discussion then pivoted to other political issues, including “woke-ism” on college campuses and its impact on American culture and education.

Goldberg, clearly infuriated, challenged Trump’s viewpoint. “Yeah, sir. Nobody in your family was chased because of the color of their skin,” Goldberg said to the camera. “How dare you? There’s no anti-white issue here. There’s no anti-white issue here. You are perpetrating anti-humanist issues here.”

In his interview, Trump expressed his concerns over a systemic bias against certain demographic groups, including whites and Catholics, under the current administration. He argued that these issues could be addressed with relative ease, suggesting that changes in educational policies and law enforcement could rectify perceived injustices.
I remember that period, sir. So you would rule out using the military on protesters?
Trump: Well, I would use the National Guard. I don’t think you’d ever have to use much more than that.
So you have spoken a lot about “woke-ism” on college campuses. Polls show a majority of your supporters have expressed the belief that anti-white racism now represents a greater problem in the country than anti-Black racism. Do you agree?
Trump: Oh, I think that there is a lot to be said about that. If you look at the Biden Administration, they’re sort of against anybody depending on certain views. They’re against Catholics. They’re against a lot of different people. They actually don’t even know what they’re against, but they’re against a lot. But no, I think there is a definite anti-white feeling in this country and that can’t be allowed either.
“You have freedom. And you have all of the advantages with none of the disadvantages,” Trump would go on to say. “You have freedom if you have a real democracy. I think we’re becoming less of a democracy when I look at the weaponization of the Justice Department, the FBI … When you look at what happened with FISA. When you look at all the things that have happened, we’re becoming less and less of a democracy.”
“But with democracy, if it’s a properly-run democracy, which it will be, if and when I get back into office, it’ll be a very proper democracy, not like what we have right now. I don’t even think what we have right now is, where a presidential candidate has to spend eight hours a day in court instead of campaigning over nothing. Over zero. Over nonsense,” Trump explained.
“I think that’s no longer democracy. I think that’s third-world country stuff.”
